I built this myself right out of the box with no trouble. I really like all the adjustable features and have been very comfortable sitting on this at my desk.
I've only had it for a few days but had no difficulty putting it together and have been loving it so far. I didn't even realize the lumbar support was adjustable when I bought it but have enjoyed that feature. Would definitely recommend assuming it lasts.
Chair is very firm and offers great lower back support which I need after having injured my back. I feel comfortable sitting in it for long periods of time. While the seat is mesh and not particularly soft it is comfortable to sit on.
After just a few days it's too soon to know about durability but I suspect the mesh seat will greatly outlast the usual foam padding that compresses within a few years in most chairs. The mesh is more firm but well shaped for both my wife & I. It's also very cool and breathable if you work in an non air-conditioned office.
It took two tries to obtain this chair at my local store. First time they said it was out of stock. Next day they said someone had not known where to look. I should have bought the assembly. Directions very confusing and in order to get phone support you had to create an account etc. Not friendly. Now once I take out the 6 screws to reverse the two arms which were in no way marked right or left the chair should be fine.
