The Kroy Mesh chair is attractive but a bit hard to adjust. I’m supposed to be able to turn the knob under the chair to lessen the tension and tip backwards. That will not turn. Since I am short I fit on the seat but you can not attach the seat back far enough to be able to sit to the back of the seat and a taller person would be uncomfortable. It was also difficult to attach the back as the arms are already on and you have to precariously hold the pieces at the edge of a counter so the back will drop down get everything to match and hold the chair back upright to get the screws in. It would have been easier with a second person. Then it was very heavy to drop to the floor; I was so afraid I’d drop it and damage my flooring. Being short (5’ 2”) I was pleased the arm rests could be lowered and not force my shoulders upward while typing which can cause muscles spasms. Materials seem to be very good quality.
The assembly was not difficult but it was more tedious than was anticipated. There was one part left over. After half an hour of mental analysis I decided “sure enough it is an extra piece”! Over all grade GOOD. The chair is comfortable and functional so all worked out fine. .
I looked at some more expensive chairs that I liked better but for the money this is a comfortable chair. When it was first shipped to me the mesh back came ripped which makes me concerned for its durability. Staples did replace the broken chair so I have a good one now. It was easy to assemble and will hopefully last several years.
