The seat is not deep but the chair is comfortable rolls easily and has good adjustments. I would definitely go for the padded seat on the blue mesh as opposed to the solid black chair.

Purchased this chair based on how comfortable it was in the store. At home a different story. Felt stiff and mechanism to position the tilt of the chair back didn't work. Returning the chair for a refund.

I did not realize the seat was mesh as well as the back. It is not as comfortable to sit in as a cloth seat. You can only adjust the arms up and down. The description made me think you could move them in/out as well. You also cannot move the seat back out to allow you to sit deeper in the chair. Chair is okay but I would pick a different chair if I had to choose again.
