My desk is higher than many desks (38”) and I needed a comfortable chair that would raise high enough for that. This one raises to the perfect level and the arm rests are adjustable as well. It also has an adjustable lumbar support which is fabulous for my back. I was able to put the chair together myself in less than an hour. Definitely recommend.
