After trying numerous office chairs that were so expensive or uncomfortable I had been using a hard seated kitchen chair for years. My 'birthday' chair is so comfortable with great back support and just a bit of give on the seating. The back can be tilted including an up and down adjustment. The arms are removable with no holes discernible. The mesh keeps the back and seat cool. The chair is rated for a 5-10 hours of sitting...that has NOT been tested! Also the price was very reasonable for the quality of the chair.

Chair did not last 6 months

I liked this chair very much when I first bought it I found it easy to assemble and comfortable as many other reviewers did. However barely 6 months after I purchased it the chair is now broken in such a way as to be completely unusable. The base of the seat below the mesh has one giant crack clear across it as well as large cracks in other key places. It's an office chair it doesn't see a lot of "action" as it were and I certainly don't think I've given it the kind of beating that would result in this kind of damage. I have to say I am very disappointed.

Cool Comfortable & Likely Durable

After just a few days it's too soon to know about durability but I suspect the mesh seat will greatly outlast the usual foam padding that compresses within a few years in most chairs. The mesh is more firm but well shaped for both my wife & I. It's also very cool and breathable if you work in an non air-conditioned office.
