The chair sits well. This chair has a better height range than most other chairs and the arms and lumbar a also adjustable. The mesh backing and seat make the chair comfortable to sit in for extended periods of time.
If you're looking for a comfortable supportive and adjustable chair that has a higher seat height that most chairs look no further. My desk was custom designed/made for my office and is a few inches higher than a standard desk to provide more room under the desk but I didn't take into account that most desk chairs are just not high enough to sit without giving me back pain. I searched online and in stores for weeks before I found the Kroy. It was on sale when I purchased so it was not super expensive and I love that the back AND seat are both mesh (please note only the black chair has a mesh seat the blue chair has a cushion). I can sit for hours at a time and having a mesh seat really helps keep me cool. More pluses are the adjustable armrests (up and down) and adjustable lumbar support not to mention the high back. You can also recline/tilt in the chair if you want and adjust the tension of the tilt as well. The only real con I have had so far with the chair is that it was a bit of a challenge to put together. I highly recommend enlisting someone really strong to help you assemble the chair. It took 2 of us about an hour including a call to Staples (couldn't figure out how to attach the wheels - it apparently takes A LOT of strength to push them into the base) to put everything together. All in all the chair was totally worth the bit of aggravation it took to assemble it.
1st chair was only used about 4 days and less than 4 hours a day 100 lbs. under limit of 275. Developed a loosening of upholstery of seat and staples were showing. Store did an exchange without any issues. So far so good with replacement chair.
Bought one last year for my office and ended up buying four more this year to replace the resat of my chairs. Very comfortable and easy to put together.
This chair is mostly comfortable except for the seat area in the front. It has a hard plastic where the underside of your thighs rest and it is very uncomfortable. I find myself having to put my feet on the legs to get the pressure off my thighs. I feel the cost of the chair is a bit high for what it is.
