the assembled chair is comfortable to sit in. The pictorial directions were not very clear for someone who has not done this chair before. Yes I would recommend it and intend to buy another one for my wife.

I have arthritis in my lower back and needed something with good lumbar support. This chair is it. I looked at a few other chairs at Staples and this has the best lumbar support of all the chairs I sat in. It is equally as good as one chair that was $100 more than it. It's only the first week of owning it so I don't know how well it will hold up but it meets the need for my lower back.

The cushion is already almost to the frame lost it's padding after only using it for about a month and a half! I got a new one because I had to use an extra cushion on my last chair and here I am again. Not happy.
