This is a well built chair and comfortable for extended use at a computer once the lumbar is adjusted correctly. It forces one to use good posture sitting up straight and feet flat on the floor.
Bought to replace a swivel upholstered dining chair I've have worn out after 8 1/2 years. THIS is 'nice' . . . the 'open' fabric will keep me comfortable. Just wish the lowest height was maybe 2 inches lower. I am 'Vertically Challenged' and at 5'6" shorter legs come standard! The ability to recline a fair degree is welcome. Even to 'lock in' a specific point if wishing to. The independently adjustable 'arms' are nice. All-in-all? Just hope it lasts another 8+ years! Fair value for the price paid.
This was more than I intended to pay. But once in the store this chair was the clear winner. I had been having back pains with the old chair. It was fun to assemble too. I had been sitting on a white plastic lawn chair for years but it was time to grow up and get a real chair. I'm a writer so it was a career investment and a health investment.
