I have a super comfortable and durable office chair that has no brand markings on it. I've tried to order similar chairs 3 times and each one falls a little short with this Union & Scale chair being the closest so far.
This is actually the second Kroy Mesh Task Chair that I have purchased. I bought my first one a year and half ago to replace the chair at my employer's office. I could not sit for long stretches and my back really hurt at the end of the day. I purchased the Kroy chair and it has allowed me to sit supported and with back pain. Since we had to start working from home due COVID-19 I purchased my 2nd Kroy chair for my home office for the same reasons and got the same pain relief results.
As mentioned by other customers the chair is uncomfortably high at the lowest setting. I am 6 feet and after a couple of weeks with this chair my lower back hurts and my hips are strained from stretching my legs. I would recommend finding something more adjustable or replacing the hydraulic lift with a shorter one (like from an old chair if you can get it separated).
I have arthritis in my lower back and needed something with good lumbar support. This chair is it. I looked at a few other chairs at Staples and this has the best lumbar support of all the chairs I sat in. It is equally as good as one chair that was $100 more than it. It's only the first week of owning it so I don't know how well it will hold up but it meets the need for my lower back.
