my chair needed fixed & I could have had it fixed but I have been wanting a chair like this for over 2 years it is so comfortable & relaxing I have even emailed over 10 of my friends about this chair letting them know that if they want a change get this chair.

Love the Lumbar Flexibiltiy

I am still evaluating the chair. I love the flexibility of the back. It was assembled and adjjusted in a way that allows me to lean backwards to stretch my back during long hours working online.. The pain in my back has subsided some due to this and the support the back provides. It is now less painful for me to walk. I bought a store model because of the way it was assembled with this feature. The head rest is adjjustable and provides some cushioned support to the back of my head. The arms are the least comfortable feature. They have some cushioning in them but theypre too close together and the right one gets in the way if I raise them higher. The chair is sort of narrow between the arms. The seat is a little short also and sometimes seems to affect blood circulation in my legs. For me the support and flexibility of the lumbar area is the chair's best feature. Unfortunately by buying the preassembled floor model I didn't get the flyer and other paperwork that comes with the boxed chairs. I was also charged an assembly fee but there were about $5. in toher discounts.

Needed a chair (and desk) quickly as educating moved back to online-only. Sitting on a couch all day was doing me no favors. The last 4 weeks with the Hyken have been great. Recommended.

One issue

The seat and back are comfortable but I found that the arms were awkwardly high even when adjusted to their lowest position -- I'm 5'10". I'm now using the chair with the arms removed which is less than ideal.

Not as comfortable as I hoped

Staples' service gets 5 stars - extremely fast delivery and friendly driver. The chair is ok not bad and not great. The comments made by others about the headrest being too low are correct. I'm 6' 180 lbs the headrest hits my upper back when I sit upright if I slouch it's about right I'll probably remove it as others have done. Overall the chair is fairly ergonomic and provides decent support other than that it's not super comfortable. I'm trim and find the armrests to be a bit too close together not a deal breaker but I prefer them to be a bit further apart. The armrests are also a bit too hard I sometimes have tendinitis in my left elbow and it hurts to rest it for long on the armrest. Assembly was easy and the instructions were clear. I would probably consider other chairs before buying this one again.

Great chair. great price

I always thought that desk cahirs should be soft cushion and for comfort with no ergonomics in play. Shopping for my new chair I tried the Hykien chair and ergonomics and confort with support won me over. now I want to be in my chair for the first time! I can actaully lean back and fall asleep.
