A very good chair

The regular retail price of this chair would make it the most expensive chair I have purchased; however I got it at a very good sale price and also used Staples Rewards which kept my final cost low. The mesh material is great; very breathable and cool. The chair is well made and durable. The spring-loaded tilt back feature of the back is great. I was not a big fan of the headrest and fortunately was able to remove that and not use it. The chair is surprisingly firm for the material. I like this; tho some might not. (I'm not a fan of "cushy" furniture.) Downsides.... the high rise and curve of the star-base legs makes it difficult to rest my feet on the legs in the way I am accustomed to doing. I also wish the bottom was able to tilt as well.

OFFICE CHAIR

I purchased this chair about a month ago. I had an old high back office chair but my feet never touched the ground causing leg aches and pains. This chair although it has no padding on the seat is very pliable to the shape of the bottom you put in it. I have scoliosis and have broken my back and neck issues. I always feel rested in this chair and the neck support is just the right size and height for my frame. I am longer in the torso and it fits just right in the nape of my neck. I would suggest buying this chair for anyone. It raises and lowers with ease and has a nice tilt to it the arms will even raise and lower. It has a comfortable lower back support also.

Staples Hyken™ Technical Mesh Task Chair

very comfortable chair. I like its ability to let me sit in various positions. It is always supportive of my sitting moods. The fact that the air can breeze through it is an added plus since it keeps me cool even after sitting in it for several hours. I feel relaxed despite the hours that seem to fly by. When I stand up I am not cramped or stiff...all a function of how ergonomically based the Hyken Technical Mesh Task Chair is. Another positive feature is its ease at being raised and lowered. Three of us sit in this chair during several work shifts and it i easy to find my comfortable position once again.

very picky with a bad back loves it!

I went to the store and field tested about 20 of the office chairs they had. I am obsessive and indecisive and was there for hours trying each of them out pulling them so I sat at a desk etc. Not a light easy decision! As most office people do I spend most of my life at my desk. And with a disk bulge in my lumbar region - I can't sit badly or get something that is not perfectly the right fit. Finally bought this one. After having someone else put it together (comes unassembled as most do) - I sat in it at my desk and have been happy ever since. The arm rests are adjustable and much better than in other chairs. For those who want it - I love that it is exceptionally great at gliding across the floor - lets me zip around. This is the best chair for anyone needing solid support on their lower back. Most chairs are too far back and leave a gap. Or they are too soft. The support along with the extra special neck rest are just wonderful. No complaints. High praise. Buy this chair.

Super Comfortable Well Made

When I purchased this chair a month ago I was unsure if I would like it. It has proven to be the best chair I ever bought! It is super comfortable without being too stiff has a nice adjustable headrest that does not feel invasive in any way and it rolls smoothly on both carpet and hard surfaces. I was a bit surprised at the fact that I had to assemble it myself and the instructions were labeled as "easy" but were anything but - Not that it was a struggle to put it together but I could not see some people who may not be mechanically inclined being able to follow the instructions . Overall love the chair and got it with a coupon - even better!
