Maybe if the complete back was adjustable to where you could lower it to make it comfortable for all heights I think you would have a perfect chair. My story: My daughter who is taller than my 5'2" loves the chair. Unfortunately for her I bought it for me because I needed the headrest for support. I found that the back is a little too tall for me therefor making the headrest not supporting my neck as expected. If you want to make something for the older and shorter generation this would need to have a shorter back with a headrest. As for the comfort my daughter gives it a thumbs up. I purchased the chair specifically for the headrest.

strong petroleum smell

The chair was easy to ensemble and is very comfortable. The only thing is I wish I can use it. The chair has a very strong petroleum smell to it to the point I only used it one day. It has been in the garage for a week airing out. I hope to bring it into the house soon and use it.
