Headrest broke inside of 2 months

I like the chair I prefer the mesh seat/back. There aren't that many configuration for comfort (Upright and recline) it would be nice to be able to set a recline distance but I chalk that up to the cost/value. I did NOT expect the headrest to snap inside of 2 months of ownership. I'm trying to get in touch to see if I can get a replacement headrest

Crooked

The chair was easy enough to assemble all parts present etc. However once it was all together and was set up on its wheels we discovered that the back piece was crooked. I mean *very* crooked. Try as we might with loosening and tightening bolts we weren't able to straighten it out. It's still reasonably comfortable with the adjustable arms and lumbar support but I can still feel the crooked back :( If I did it again I'd pay the $10 to have them assemble it (and I'm pretty handy - never pay for that kind of thing).

Excellent little chair

This chair was easy to setup and build as all the required tools and parts are nicely packaged and labeled to avoid confusion. The easy to follow instructions had me setup in under 30 minutes. The overall build quality is nice with solid plastic parts that don't feel flimsy. It's quite comfortable overall and after sitting it in 6+ hours a day you'll feel fine. The headrest on the back can be removed. It's probably not the best option for taller people but being 5'5 I find it about the perfect height for me. It can only be tilted up and down the height placement cannot be adjusted. I haven't had it long enough to comment on overall durability but so far I am quite happy with my purchase and wouldn't hesitate to buy another one for the office.

Chair for my computer desk

Of all the desk swivel chairs I looked at in the San Rafael store this chair felt the most comfortable looked good and was among the least expensive. The store didn't have any in stock but the assistant ordered it on-line for me with same-day delivery. I ordered it unassembled because I enjoy putting things together. The chair was delivered the next day. The box was so heavy I don't know how the delivery driver managed to carry it from his truck to my front hall. I unpacked and carried the individual pieces to my computer room. The assembly instructions were very clear and it took no time or effort to have a very comfortable chair for my computer. I have used it two to six hours daily and no longer have back or shoulder aches. The arms are just the right height to support my arms at keyboard height; the chair back gives great support but moves back and forth easily as I type so that I don't have to sit in one position; and the seat adjusts to just the height I want as well as being soft yet firm.

Too Few Adjustments

Back height does not adjust which means for tall folks the head rest buries in your high back or you have to remove it.

Staples Hyken Technical Mesh Task Chair

I purchased this chair for use at my home computer where I often spend long hours. I've had a history of back issues and at 60 years old I've found that I get stiff after sitting too long. I've had this chair for a week now and it's everything I hoped for. The lumbar support is the best I've ever had including office chairs at work. The mesh is cool and comfortable but provides firm enough support. The multiple adjustments are easy to work and enabled me to tailor it to my exact fit. Finally I bought it on sale and the price was excellent. I highly recommend this chair for work station use.
