Easy to build

this chair is so comfortable! It was easy to build myself although I recommend a second person to assist you. I’m 5’3 and 220 pounds and it fits me perfectly. It’s a worth every dime I paid for it.

comfortable hard to assemble

I have assembled a lot of things including my last desk chair (also from Staples). This is harder altho the packaging and instructions are quite good. It is premature to ask about the fabric but so far so good. It is comfortable (altho I omit the head rest by choice) and eminently adjustable. Delivery was very fast as always in my area. I bought the chair on sale and the price was certainly right.

Purchased for son's college apartment for his desk. He loves the adjustability to get a perfect fit for him and the desk. Will be spending many hours this semester on this chair at his desk completing his coursework. The comfort factor is a must.

We ordered this chair for a new employee. It was a little awkward assembling the chair. But the employee is very happy with this chair and finds it very comfortable.

Never received an undamaged one

Yesterday I finished repacking the second office chair delivered to me. I am 78 years old with severe back problems and thought a new office chair would be right for me. The first box which weighs 60 - 70 lbs was upside down and the bottom (now top) was ripped open. I called Staples and was told to return it and don't remove the contents. I received another yesterday. The box was crushed and after unpacking found that parts were broken in many places. Also the bottom of the box was falling out. I called and asked what are my options since I do not believe I could get a chair that is not damaged..I called UPS last time and they could care less about damage. In fact their policy is to deliver to package no matter how damaged it is....wow. I finally decided after hearing options not palatable to me to return the item and cancel the order. I am an old customer of Staples but my body can not take any more. I will buy a chair from a store that will deliver a chair to me assembled and I am told that Staples will not do that. There is no way that the chair could get here from China without damage since the box is flimsy and there is no padding in the inside. Just a thin plastic covering over the unassembled parts but no protection at all. Looks like it could be a nice chair if it could ever get here undamaged.

I did not think twice and placed this order. I don't regret it because it helps you cool down due to mesh texture on back and seat. I love it!
