Excellent from start to finish

I searched several stores & tried out many chairs to find a firm yet comfortable lumbar support. Staples had the most in store models. I knew within seconds the Hyken Tech chair was the right fit. I removed the arms to allow chair to slip under desk. Service friendly attentive & patient. Liked the locked tilt back option & comfy neck rest for short breaks during work time. Free shipping to home in 2 days- no damaged parts. Husband had it up quickly. Very happy with purchase!

Something I've been needing quite a while and finally dared to buy.

I spend a lot of time at the computer and longer at my desk. I've been using a standard office chair with the resulting pain in my...self and in my back. When I saw this chair on sale at $100.00 off I decided to try it. The chair is a mesh seat and back chair with spring assisted back support and an adjustable lumbar support all held up by a ubiquitous air spring. It has the now standard five let spider base with casters. Adjustment consists of: Back support tension seat height lumbar support height head support height and angle and chair arm height. The seat back locks at various angles from straight up to comfortable recline if that's what you want. Quite honestly I am amazed at how comfortable this chair is and how long I can sit in it without pain in my...self and lower back. I consider this chair to be the best purchase I've made this year and that is saying something. As a writer I spend nearly eight hours in this chair a day writing; and another three hours answering mail looking things up and redoing edits. This chair is a salvation for me; at the end of the day I no longer hurt (my...self no longer hurts and my lower back no longer aches). I'm glad I spent the money for this chair!

The chair is very comfortable. I like that I can adjust so many components on the chair. The two problems that I have with the chair are that the head rest is too low for a person above 6 feet. I am 6'2" and the head rest hits me in the shoulder blades so I had to remove it. Also the recline spring tensioner doesn't tighten as much as I would like for my height. So when I lean back in the chair there is not enough resistance to be comfortable and I lean all the way back.

I have a lot of back problems especially in the lower lumbar region. I bought this chair for sewing and desk work. It is very comfortable and stress free on my back. The sale price at Staples made it affordable for me.

Fits me!

Living in a house with people who are over 6' 2" tall gets old when you are 5'6" and all the furniture is too big. I either have to scoot forward and shove pillows behind my back so my feet touch the floor or if I lean back my feet don't touch the floor or just recline...and then I fall asleep! My office chair was no different. I was tired of the discomfort of my old office chair and decided to get one that fit ME after all I'm the one that uses it 99% of the time. I can sit the way you are supposed to so that my back is actually supported. It's comfy on my rear and I like having the head rest. I've customized this chair to fit me and so far no one else has used it but I love it!
