Comfortable chair!

I bought this chair for my husband who was using an old dining room chair to work on his computer. (His old chair had "died.") We saw this chair online and the sale price was great so we gave it a try sight unseen. He loves it!
I love the mesh back the lumbar and the headrest and I love the fact that I can rock back when I want to but there are steel bars on each side of the seat and they jab into my hips and thighs. I must admit I sit for hours at a time in front of a computer without any breaks so maybe I need a chair with a better seat. The Hyken Chair leaves me sore all afternoon. I'll look for a cushion I can put on the seat and hope that doesn't mess up the lumbar.
I'm fortunate enough to have a Herman Miller Aeron chair at the office and love it. Previous to moving to new office space (with the new chairs) in my company I sat on a lot of old cushion chairs and found the padding wears out and they don't breath nearly as well. Enter my home office. I previously had a leather manager chair (not inexpensive) that was initially comfortable but apparently even expensive chairs wear out sooner than they should (seat padding flattened out within a year and I'm not exactly a large person (weigh around 135) so this was disappointing. It also didn't breath very well and after long sit downs during work at home days my seat became a bit sweaty. Time for something new so I began looking for a mesh chair similar to the one I had at work (though not as expensive). During a Black Friday special I decided to take a chance and purchase this chair... never having sat on it. I needed a new chair and the price was right (and it is mesh on the seat and back - unlike many other mesh chairs which are only mesh in the back but not the seat). Assembly is fairly easy. It only took me about 45 minutes and that's because I dove ahead and put it together in the wrong order (had to remove one part and re-do). Instructions could have been clearer but they aren't bad (what got me was that the second page of instructions was stuck to the first so I couldn't see it initially thus my mistake). It's not as well built or comfortable as the much more expensive Herman Miller Aeron nor does it have as many adjustments but we're talking a $179 chair (retail price on Amazon much less during the Black Friday sale) vs. a $600+ chair built for heavy office use. It also doesn't fit me quite as well as the more expensive chair (pretty close though). I'd expect there to be significant differences but in reality the differences are as big as I expected. The reclining feature is nice and works well for me. It breathes as expected so I don't sweat in it after hours of sitting. This is a big plus over my old chair. It's pretty comfortable overall though the lumbar support could be better (more flexible to get it at that "just right" spot... the Herman Miller chair has spoiled me). I'm not convinced I like the head support yet (sometimes I do sometimes it seems to be more in the way) but if I decide I don't want it it's easy to remove... no biggie. Overall I'm very pleased with the purchase. I hope the chair holds up and I can get a few good years out of it. It's not perfect (thus 4 stars which to me means it's very good) but it is a nice addition to my home office.
Very comfortable chair. Opted out of leather-like chairs since they do not last. The ergo like feel of this chair feels like it provides good back and neck support. It was easy to put together and feels like a more expensive chair that you would see at a company. I wouldn't have bought it at regular price but on sale it was inline with other high back chairs with faux leather.
