Bad lumbar support gave back pain

The lumbar support of the chair keeps poking into my back and it has given me back pain.. I saw all the good reviews and bought it.. But it was disappointing.. This was the first time I tried staples for something and this was my worst experience. Unfortunately I couldn't return it since it was a few days past my return window.

Uncomfortable chair

This chair is an improvement over the leather "executive" chair I bought from Staples a few years ago. I fell apart much sooner than it should have beginning with plastic caps the covered the ends of the legs and were held on by hollow molded pegs that fit into pre-drilled holes in the legs. The pegs broke off and glue wouldn't hold them back on. That said the new chair is seat is not very comfortable because it doesn't have enough "give " and the back leans backward far too easily even though I have changed the tension on the adjustment to its maximum point.

Easy to assemble; good back and head support

The assembly instructions were easy to follow and not hard to complete. The lower back support is excellent. The head support is very nice.

We bought this chair for mom who has back problems. The chair is very comfortable and mom has no pain after sitting in it for a while. Glad we bought it.
