Very Comfortable with Great Back Support

This chair is easy to assemble. The mesh seat and back allow for breathing especially during long sessions of working from home. Very comfortable.

Hyken Task Chair

I've been sitting in this chair for a week now and I really like it. I spend most of the day at my desk and find it very comfortable. The technical mesh is supportive and a bit bouncy. Even the headrest which I did not think I needed is comfortable when I lean back. I'm 5'4" and find the seat and arm height to be adjustable enough for me. The box it came in was a little beat up but everything inside was in good shape. I unpacked it downstairs and carried the pieces up a bit at a time as some of the sections are heavy. All the parts are well-labeled. The assembly is not difficult though a bit awkward at times. I was able to put it together by myself though it would be good to have some help with attaching the seat to the base. Also the wheels just snap in but require a LOT of pressure to get them in tight. I did not have the strength for it but was able to turn it upright put the wheels into position and sit in it to get the wheels to snap into place. I highly recommend this chair.

Got it for working at home during the pandemic. Makes it look like I’m taking my clients colleagues seriously (while on Zoom meetings) because of the executive look! Image is everything! It’s comfortable ergonomically designed and I can sit without getting back troubles. Head test is great!

I've had the chair for about 3 weeks and it's been a comfortable 3 weeks. I'm a tall person and having upper body support is important to me. My only criticism is that after 3 weeks the chair is no longer tightly assembled and is starting to behave loosely around the arm rests despite the bolts being tightened.

Nice chair. Easy to assemble. The reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is the "headrest" is worthless to me. No matter how I adjusted it it only came up to my neck. I am only 6' tall so it's not like I am a monster. I just took it off and use the chair without it.

surprisingly good

bought this to replace a defunct aeron chair. for the price difference there's little to argue against the replacement. i'm 6' 225 lbs. the hyken is a little narrow a little shallow but not uncomfortably so. the seat's front edge padding makes for comfortable sitting. the gas piston provides very firm seating (at least for now). the back is more than tall enough and the head rest is well-positioned. assembly was straightforward. backward tilt is a little loose but i use the tilt lock anyway.
