This chair is definitely comfortable. You can adjust the headrest armrests height and how far you can lean back. It's on wheels and because it's brand new it rolls around a lot better but totally worth it.

Excellent Upgrade

At work they had a standardized chair which was literally torture for my back and neck. In my previous job the standard was an Herman Miller (little did I know) so the switch was easily noticed. As someone who is posture-obsessed I was dreading the impacts I was already noticing from the poor chair (rounding in upper thoracic region of spine pain in mid-low back etc.) not to mention that the discomfort directly impacted my enthusiasm for going to work. I saw someone in the office shelled out $1k for an Herman Miller but there was no way I would make the investment at this point. Lo an behold I found this chair by staples (50% off) and thought it was worth giving it a try. Set up was fairly simple and I kept the headrest detached due to issues I've read about from taller people (though there is a "mod" for this that apparently solves the length issue). On its own with the chair I IMMEDIATELY felt the difference. Combined with a back cushion + seat cushion + foot rest I am in ergonomic heaven (the cushions and footrest were unable to offset the problems experienced with the original chair but worked great with this one). Now you don't need to go the lengths I did to improve your work station but I will say this - my back is feeling great and I am getting great thoracic extension ~90% of the day. Great value for the $$$

I was extremely pleased with this chair. It was fairly easy to assemble and even more comfortable than I expected. A really good deal especially for the price.

I spend a lot of time coding and so am careful about the chairs I use. This one provides great lower back support and a rest spot for my neck when I lean back. Very happy with the purchase

The build of the chair is really good. Strong materials strong joins sturdy. The mesh seat and back and headrest really work to make a comfy sit.
