Don't let the head rest scare you

Took my time to research various chairs at various retailers. Didn't want to waste money knowing there is a lot of poor quality junk out there in the >$200 market. The head rest was odd looking and I didn't think I would like it. You don't have to put it on the chair however I did and it now is one of my favorite features. It's nice to recline and rest my head while talking on the phone or taking a quick break. Sturdy chair with the best assembly set up of any product I have purchased. The screws and packaged in individual sections which are numbers and correspond to the written instructions Each set of screws are painted a different color preventing any mix up. The allen wrench is also included and no other tools are required. A very solid chair which is comfortable and offers great support. I would not hesitate to buy this chair again.

I've worked hard to be able to love this chair--I really did--but in the end it's just torture machinery

I hate this chair. It's so awful. I did all the research read the super-positive reviews and told my boyfriend I wanted it for Christmas. I set it up and then...huh? What was everyone talking about?! The mesh is really hard and stiff like patio furniture. Sometimes I like to sit with one foot folded under my other leg but the sides of the seat are just stiff mesh over even harder plastic--positioned like a bucket--so it juts into my thigh until it hurts. The shape of the seat hurts my hips if I'm sitting in it for 20 minutes. I'll change positions try keeping my legs really close together straight down the middle and away from the edge. It'll feel a little better then another 10 minutes and I'm in pain and achy again. The seat tilts up in the front instead of down so when it's at the right height to make my arms 90° the backs of my lower thighs almost have to PUSH down against the front of the seat so my feet can touch the floor. Also the foam at the front edge of the seat is industrially firm not plush like every other office chair in the world. There is no seat tilt adjustment. I have tried every adjustment mentioned in the manual every which way repositioned the screws that hold it together several times and have tried every imaginable physical position to form myself to fit this chair but it still just ends up fighting me. It's like wherever I put my legs some part of this chair is just waiting to jab into my skin. So yeah that's where I'm at with this. I'm sure returning it will also be difficult. Why not?

Get it you won't regret. bang for the buck and it is every comfortable. No need to spend $1000 on Herman chair

The headrest is nice and in the right spot but the seat isn’t very comfortable. If I’m upright and sitting properly it dips downward at the back and causes my butt to fall into a pocket and forces the front of the seat to dig into the back of my thighs. The lumbar support is good but even though it’s adjustable it’s too low. There is only one recline option and it’s too loose no matter how much I adjust the tension under the seat. It needed recline steps. I just fall too far backwards so it’s useless. Wish I could return. Needs more adjustment options including multiple recline steps seat tilt and back height.

This is far most the best chair I have ever bought. I used to use the back joy for my back with my chair for my office. Now i do not need it this chair is great for the back. I sit in this chair over 8 hours a day and i have no back pain. Love this chair!!!! good price for this chair i highly recommend it!!!

Just What I Needed

My previous chair made me feel fatigued and fidgety. This chair was a steal for the price. I’m at my computer for 7 hours per day. Never feel uncomfortable. Able to adjust the seat arms and it even has head and neck support. Lightweight breathable construction. Just what I needed!

Solid chair

I have a Herman Miller Aeron at work and wanted something like it at home (at a lower price point). This chair fits that bill well. My only small omplaint is that the lumbar support does not move enough to get to my perfect spot but it is still very comfortable.
