Love this chair! I've worked in an office for over 20 years and this is the most comfortable chair I've ever used. I'm only 5'1 so it's always been a challenge finding a chair that raises up high enough for me to be at a comfortable height at my desk have armrests that are at a comfortable height while also comfortably resting my feet on a footrest but this chair fits the bill while also being very comfortable to sit in. Even though it's mesh it provides exactly the amount of support I like for my lower back.

The first time I sat on the Hyken chair I love it. It has great lumber and head support plus it’s easy to setup. It’s especially great for people with back problems and also for people that spend a lot of time sitting.

Good chair for smaller people

Most low to midprice chairs are made with larger people in mind -- we smaller folks (I'm 5'6") are supposed to "fit" in them but in fact we have to slide and stretch to accommodate -- which is not ergonomically healthy. Hyken is one of the few chairs that's reasonably well suited for a smaller person. The first chair I've ever had that didn't require me to stretch my shoulders to reach the armrests. Seat depth and height at lowest setting are also suitable for smaller users. Headrest so-so. It doesn't feel like a $1000 chair but it's a far cry better than most chairs in its price range. Lumbar is decent. Once it broke in I've been able to sit in it for long work days and as long as I periodically change positions and take breaks I don't develop "chair aches" as with most other chairs. Quibbles: 1) Armrests kind of hard. Solved with third party gelrests. 2) Wish there were a tilt lock position between the straightest and mid-setting.
