I sat in every chair in the store at least twice and finally selected the mesh chair because it was comfortable and has the adjustable lumbar support I was looking for. Delivery was free and the chair arrived on time the next day -- in a box. But.. it was easy to put together. I got all the right parts put into all the right places the first time and everything worked perfectly. I'm very happy with my choice it's even better at my desk than it was in the store.

Great chair- bad qc?

this chair fit me like a glove. I produce videos so I'm sitting for 6-8 hours on the days that I'm editing. Wheels handled carpet no problem. BUT the gas lift didn't work right out of the box. Went to exchange it for another there aren't any more of them in the area so I can't say if my problem was quality control or just an outlier. This is a narrow chair and the adjustable armrests are a teeny bit finicky. I also found the neckrest to be really close to the main back of the chair- perfect for shorter folks like me but it might be closer to your shoulderblades if you're over 5'9. I wound up with a Dexley which is a nearly identical chair with a slightly higher neck support and a slightly wider seat so if you're much bigger than my 165 pounds you'll definitely want the wider Dexley. Otherwise the chairs are dang near identical.

Great so far It gives my lower back support throughout the day and the adjustable arms are great too keeping my wrists level with the desk while working on the computer. I am on the shorter side so my feet are dangling a bit and will need to get a footstool. Otherwise I'm very happy with my purchase.

I selected this model because it seemed to comfortable was rated (by Staples) as being good for extended periods of time and it seemed to be of a similar design to a much more expensive Tempurpedic model that was also at my local Staples. Overall it's not as comfortable for sitting in for long periods of time as the 15 yr old worn out chair it was bought to replace. It was a decent buy I think it was on sale for $129 ($100 off) when I purchased it but in retrospect I would opt for something else even if was more money. Pros - Easy to assemble. Very clear instructions and well designed packing for various parts. Lightweight and easy to maneuver Easy to adjust height etc. Cons - Headrest completely useless if you are tall as it is not height adjustable. I ended up removing it because it was rubbing on my shoulder blades and was very irritating. Poor lumbar support as the lumbar insert behind the back mesh of the chair is difficult to adjust and does not have a wide range of vertical movement.
