this chair is a Christmas gift .. I received a chair similar to this one as a Christmas gift a few years ago and it is the most comfortable chair I have sat in at my desk

arms don't fit

max distance between the arms across your chest is too small you need to keep your arms too close to your body. Also they are too far forward in the picture position they keep the chair away fro the desk. I put them on backwards to sit close to the desk and only your elbow and a few inches of your arm rests on them but that works.

The seat of the chair is very “cooling” because of the mesh which is awesome if you’re hot natured.

Mesh is up to the task

The Hyken Technical Mesh Task Chair was placed at my computer in my "Man Cave". When my wife sat on the chair I was sent back to Staples to buy a second one! Like most men I need to "lean back" at times and the chair has an excellent "tilt tension adjustment" Spending two or more hours in a "mesh" chair is quite comfortable - - a "fabric" chair can be like torture. I like the "lumbar" feature. The headrest is too far back. The armrests could go lower. All in all I do like the chair!

I am so happy with this chair. I have been watching it for a long while waiting for a better price. I couldn't believe my eyes when I walked into my local Staples store #0541 and walked back to the chair section. I usually check them out just in case. I got lucky that day because my chair was a floor model they were getting rid of. I've been using it now for a few days and it is wonderful. The seat is mesh and I have no problems with my backside getting numb and sore from sitting on a cushioned chair. The lumbar support is perfect. I love the head rest. I feel I am more ergonomically positioned while I work creating much less fatigue. I am so happy with this purchase. Thank you Staples and especially Brittani Kopecki for explaining the features to me helping me load it in my car and just being especially helpful that day. She's a keeper for sure!

Hard Seat

I love the mesh back the lumbar and the headrest and I love the fact that I can rock back when I want to but there are steel bars on each side of the seat and they jab into my hips and thighs. I must admit I sit for hours at a time in front of a computer without any breaks so maybe I need a chair with a better seat. The Hyken Chair leaves me sore all afternoon. I'll look for a cushion I can put on the seat and hope that doesn't mess up the lumbar.
