Unbelievably Uncomfortable

I bought this chair for my home office as it was rated for up to 10 hours of sitting. I’m at my desk up to nine hours per day but I get up frequently. This chair is so bad that I stand every 15 mins and I’ve added a cushion and a blanket to soften the seat. I literally have a pressure burn on the back of my thigh from this disaster. Do NOT buy it.

Timing and pricing is everything. Though I bought this chair for the unbelievable price of $129.99 I was more drawn to it by its adjustable lumbar support ergonomic construction and headrest. True to its promise its quality ergonomic construction does lend itself to comfortable seating for up to 5 hours. I was also pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to construct the chair. In my lifetime I've owned several desk chairs but this is the first I've constructed by myself. I attribute this to the packaging of the materials with easy to follow instructions.

The chair is comfortable. The headrest has little vertical height adjustment and was too low for me (5'11") so I ended up removing it. Even so it is a clear upgrade over the previous chair I was using in my home office. The build instructions were clear not difficult and the necessary tool (hex key) was included. I would buy it again.

I chose this model because it was a slimmer fit than others on the Staples floor and it works well for my skinny carcass. So far so good tho its seat is a bit unforgiving compared to my last seat (tho not uncomfortable). Adjustments work well tho I haven't got the back as stiff as I'd like; it leans back ever so slightly. Overall a very good chair for a good price.
