Very firm mesh and has back/lumbar support which is very helpful when sitting for a long period of time. I would recommend for sure!

Fantastic chair

Really fantastic chair especially at the price I bought it. I am 5’ 11” 200lbs and it has fixed my low back pain with its really adjustable lumber support. It did take me a while to get used to it but I have and I really like it. Easy to put together and all the parts are clearly labeled and sorted.

We now have 3 of the Hyken Technical Mesh Task Chairs in our office. Word is spreading that it is a very comfortable chair with the ability to make many adjustments. I believe we'll be ordering more.

One of my best investments

For those of us who have to do work in a seated position the chair we spent those work-hours in is one of the easiest to overlook and most important NOT to overlook. This Hyken Mesh chair was one of my pricier investments as far as chairs go. As someone who is respected for his opinions in the functional sports med field ergonomics is a major consideration to me when I think of optimal performance. This chair coaxes your body into preserving the cervical & lumbar curves while allowing you to sit upright or recline comfortably. The adjustable height and armrests make working comfortable and the mesh seat & back allow me to do work without overheating as I sometimes tend to run hot.

Almost perfect

This chair is perfect for my husband who is 5'9" tall. The head rest is not adjustable in height so would be uncomfortable for someone taller than 5'10". It can be left off while assembling but in that case save money and get a chair without the head rest. This chair made working from home all day much more comfortable. No more back pain!
