Very comfortable great support

Solid chair I would definitely recommend. If you are tall (6ft+) the head support will only be appreciated when relaxing or leaning back. It is not adjustable "enough" to raise it above my shoulders. The rest of the chair is excellent.

Lumbar support felt uncomfortable

Lumbar support on Hyken felt uncomfortable pressing into my lower back. Back started paining after sitting on it for less than an hour. I have a mesh chair at work but never felt uncomfortable sitting on it all day. Only change I needed was the back to be with more spring action when you want to stretch or lean. Thought of getting one with lumbar support to WFH. The key difference I observed between the chair I had at work and Hyken chair is I prefer the back and seat being straight/flat - 90deg join instead of curves with lumbar support covering across entire bottom half of the back. I also tried FlexFit Dexley Mesh Task Chair and felt lumbar support and seat on it much comfortable but after sitting on it for whole day had back pain. Returning both. I need to find chair with flat seat and back with wide lumbar support.

Seat is to narrow could be a little wider. And sitting an hour or so the front the support is hard on my tights. I would recommend going to an upscale model. I like the mechanism for adjusting the seat and back.

If you have back issues avoid this

I have herniated L4/L5/S1 disc. I’ve been working from home since July and needed something with more support rather than just an upholstered kitchen chair. This had good reviews so I took the chance. Awful! It started with leg cramping a day or two after using. Figured I needed an adjustment period. Now I’m having a complete sciatic nerve attack and can only lay down to be comfortable. Even with my back issues I’ve never had something nearly this bad. I would just avoid this one.

Faulty piece

The chair is extremely comfortable (we've ordered 2) but we have to return this one because of a very small manufacturing defect where the headrest affixes to the seat back - a screw receptacle embedded in the seat back had faulty threading. The chair had to be completely disassembled and returned. Not a fun task.
