I tried out several chairs in the store. I was looking for a chair that I could be in for 8-10 hours a day. I have arthritis in my back so the lumbar support is wonderful. I also suffer from neck pain as well. the headrest is very helpful. I also wanted a chair that rolls easily because I work in a U-Shaped Workstation. I like a chair that can be raised to a position that allows my feet to rest flat on the floor without feeling like I am too low. I also like the option to allow this chair to rock back. This chair exceeds all my expectations.

My son has a bad back and needed something supportive. This chair is very supportive. It adjusts easily to almost any position. The mesh is cool and it rolls easily but not so much that is slips out from under you. I recommend this chair!!

The neck support hits my back in the right place. Check it out before you buy. If you are shorter than I ( 6 feet) it may not be as good.

Staples Hyken Technical Mesh Task Chair

I absolutely LOVE my Hyken chair! My husband has an old back injury which became agitated recently and when he could not sit on any of our furniture without being in constant pain he went straight to Staples in search of a good lumbar support chair. After trying several he settled on the Hyken which he stated felt very similar to the expensive chiropractic chair he used at work for years (he is now retired). The Hyken chair relieved his pain instantly and he praised it enthusiastically- so much so that I decided to try it. I had a knee replacement long ago which continues to pain me. Imagine my surprise when not only did my back experience immediate relief from strain but my knee also relaxed and the pain I have known for years subsided! I now have my own Hyken and we highly recommend this chair!
