Durability is nonexistent, ring lasted less than a year before battery started to not hold a charge. It wasn't even lasting a day. Responsiveness also started failing and ring wouldn't not stay connected to phone.

Consider it disposable at 1yr when battery fails

Loved the ring for the first couple months, but then the battery wouldn't keep a charge. Contacted support and got a replacement for free as I was within the warranty window. But now that it's approching another year, the battery has stopped holding a charge. When I first got it, I could go a week without charging it; now it only lasts a day. Very disappointed with Samsung on this. Almost everything I have is Samsung, but I'm now forced to look at other ring brands. If you get this ring, consider it disposable at the one year mark.

These ring good but

Poorly fleshed out product

In terms of accuracy, a lot of studies show that it's worse than the competition. As much as I loathe subscriptions, I regret buying this instead of an Oura ring. The oura covers more metrics with better accuracy from what I've seen. Also, the battery in mine kicked the bucket after like 3 months. Capacity went down until it wasn't even lasting a full day. At least they replaced it under warranty. The workout tracking is also pretty terrible—they don't even have an option for strength training, just "weight machines" which as far as I can tell doesn't even make use of any of the ring's sensors and is as good as logging the workout on your phone. Auto detection also only works for like walking and running. Maybe the next generation will be better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

While it's not a Dr. it does give you the warning signs of possible underlying physically ailments that can really save you a long hard road and lots of hearth expenses just by giving you early warning signs

And because I wanted to get a smart ring to keep track of my activities when I'm not wearing my Galaxy Watch. I wanted a ring that works with my other Galaxy devices, is easy to use, is comfortable, and has good battery life and the Galaxy Ring is the one that checked all of the boxes! I would recommend this to everyone!
