[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ring tracks a lot of what you'd like, but it's weirdly hard to view certain things, and there are surprisingly limited exercise tracking options. Several dozen exercises arr options to track but almoat none of them include heart rate tracking, which I would have expected to be the very basic minimum. I've also had battery life issues recently, though I'm hopeful those will be resolved by a service repair in progress.

Hello there Jptiger, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We appreciate your critiques as we continue to improve the functionality and performance of our product line. Samsung offers a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ which can be added to eligible devices. It's similar to an extended warranty plan and an insurance package combined that provides protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It could cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ offers you the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to protecting your investment. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. Please feel free to take a look at, "How to charge the Galaxy Ring" if you would like to learn more about the factors that may be impacting the life of your device. The Galaxy Ring automatically tracks your heart rate during exercise and you can view this data in the Samsung Health app. For more detailed tracking, start a specific workout from the Samsung Health app on your phone, which can also provide stats like pace and distance. You can also manually measure your heart rate anytime by using the "Measure" option in the Galaxy Wearable app. If you would like any further assistance after, please feel free to reach out to Samsung Support. Thanks for being a dedicated Samsung customer! - Debra

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved it until it stopped holding a charge 8 months in and dealing with Samsung support hasn't been the best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the galaxy ring and I loved it it measured so many different things like heart rate, steps, etc. It would be nice to see some type of Galaxy AI feature on there. And it would also be nice if it was water proof so I dont have to continuously take it off but overall it's a great product and I would recommend and purchase again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am making a big effort to improve my health and a big part of this is following my daily activity and sleep. Using my Samsung Watch Ultra and Samsung Ring I get precise results I complement with a Continuous Glucose Monitor and smart scale. At the beginning the ring battery lasted up to three days, six months ago it lasted two days, and a month ago, I had to charge it every day. Now, it failed to charge. I hope the new Galaxy Ring 2,expected in 2026, will come with a better battery.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ring is easy to wear, great battery life, accurate in tracking (I wore it at the same time as a watch and competitor's ring and data was very very similar), and I love that I can charge it on the go. The app leaves something to be desired. Logging workouts is complicated. You can't adjust sleep times so if you like to read in bed before going to sleep, it tracks that as sleep.
once i stopped wearing my watch the battery on my ring started drastically declining fast.

Hello there Dwood178, Thanks for reaching out to share your sentiments with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Wearing your Galaxy Ring along with your Galaxy Watch provides continuous and comprehensive health tracking, offers convenient charging options, and extends your Galaxy Ring's battery life by up to 30%. Your Galaxy Watch serves as the primary device, managing data from both, while the Ring acts as a backup, ensuring uninterrupted health insights even if one device is charging. This combination offers a more complete picture of your health and fitness data within the Samsung Health app. Your Galaxy Ring is awesome at tracking metrics like steps, distance, calories, heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), blood oxygen, skin temperature, and sleep stages. It also provides an energy score, offers sleep coaching, tracks menstrual cycles, and automatically detects and records workouts like walking and running. Additional features include gesture control for phone functions like dismissing alarms or taking photos, wireless charging, and integration with the Samsung Health app for personalized insights, all without the need of a subscription! In order to ensure that your Galaxy Ring remains in its pristine working condition, after exposure to liquids other than clean water (such as coffee, beverages, soapy water, oils, perfumes, and chemicals such as sunscreen, hand sanitizer, and cosmetics), please rinse the Ring with clean water, wipe with a soft, clean cloth, and dry thoroughly before use to maintain water resistance. The Galaxy Ring battery can last up to 7 days and if you combine that with a full cradle charge, you can get up to 14 days of battery life without plugging into an outlet! Feel free to check out, "Galaxy Ring won't charge" if you find your device no longer taking a charge. Please check out the resources shared below. Let us know if you have any questions or if you would like any further assistance by reaching out to Samsung Support afterward. Thanks for being a valued Samsung customer. - Debra

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased because I have been using the Samsung watches to help improve my sleep. I like that If I forget to charge before bed I can alternate devices and still capture some information. However, it would be nice if the battery hadn't dwindled down so quickly. It was great in the beginning I was getting 7 days use (preordered, wear it everyday), now I sometimes only get 2 days of wear before I have to charge. It is very inconsistent, some rare days I can get 4, I wear my watch everyday as well. It is also a bit large for my hand size, it would be nice if it could come in a thinner band size at some point. Overall I am happy with it, I just hope future models can overcome the battery issue.
