[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a Galaxy S24 Ultra user in NYC, I've been loving Samsung's ecosystem for health tracking. Adding the Galaxy Ring has been a game-changer—it's the perfect discreet companion that complements my phone without the bulk of a watch. The design is stunning: lightweight titanium (2.3-3g depending on size), slim (7mm wide, 2.6mm thick), with a concave profile that resists scratches. I got Titanium Silver—it looks like regular jewelry, blends with everything from suits to gym gear, and feels invisible during long NYC walks or subway rides. Sizing was easy with the free kit, and it's 10ATM/IP68 water-resistant for showers, swimming, or rain. Health tracking shines for 24/7 wear: accurate sleep stages, heart rate, stress, skin temp, activity (auto-detects walks/runs), steps, and an Energy Score via Galaxy AI that gives quick daily readiness insights. No subscription needed—all features free in Samsung Health. Battery lasts up to 7 days (real-world 5-6 for me), and the clever charging case (with USB-C) is super convenient—drop it in, and it's ready fast. It pairs seamlessly with my S24 Ultra for gestures like double-pinch to snap photos or snooze alarms. Data feels more passive and insightful than my watch alone, especially for recovery and sleep in busy city life. I love how it upgrades my routine without overwhelming notifications. If you're in the Galaxy ecosystem and want subtle, premium health monitoring, great product. Definitely recommended

Needs to catch up to the competition
on March 10, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung really needs to work on the sleep detection and the fact that the sensors protrude from the rings inner area. The fact that the ring has a specific orientation it needs to be worn in so that sensors are facing the correct direction in order to successfully measure quantities is not really smart.
Yes it's lightweight and it looks nice or stylish. The actual software and Galaxy AI in the Samsung Health app isn't on par with the competition. The ring, the Galaxy AI, and the Samsung Health app really need a bit more time in development. The case takes a little bit longer to charge than I feel like it should given how small the battery in the case is.
The ring does last up to 7 days on a single charge as far as I've seen in personal experience but there is a big problem with that. It lasts 7 days because the ring does not check for your vitals or the quantities being measured as often as some people including myself would like. The amount of times the ring will check for your heartbeat and every 10 minutes while you're awake if not every 20 to 30 minutes. You unfortunately cannot change this in the software with the Samsung Health app. I personally would like to have the ring check my vitals and the quantities being measured every 2 minutes, 3 minutes, or 5 minutes at the cost of battery life and that is totally fine with me. Samsung has an okay product with the Galaxy Ring but they really need to start catching up to the competition yesterday.

Hello ZhenocElenra, Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We appreciate your feedback as we strive to provide our customers with exceptional products, unsurpassed functionality, and reliable performance. The Galaxy Ring features three slightly raised, rounded sensors on the inner band, designed to make consistent contact with the skin. The orientation of the device is important because these sensors must be positioned on the underside of your finger to accurately collect health data, such as heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and sleep metrics. The Galaxy Ring stands out from its competitors by offering a subscription-free experience, deeper integration with the Galaxy ecosystem which includes gesture controls for cameras and alarms, packed in a more compact and lightweight design. Other advantages include AI-driven "Energy Scores" and specialized health monitoring features. It measures heart rate (continuously or every 10 mins), skin temperature, sleep stages (light, deep, REM), blood oxygen, and activity (steps, calories) to provide comprehensive health insights. Also, you can adjust the frequency of some health measurements on the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Please do not hesitate to reach out to Samsung Support if you would like to share additional feedback with us or if you would like any further assistance after reviewing the resources provided below. Thank you for being a loyal Samsung customer. - Debra

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the greatest experience with the Galaxy Ring. Size 11 is not easy to find but mine has given me great battery life 4 days on a normal week
Love it!! Only draw back currently is the recent update, when I am in public - my ring is trying to sync with someone else phone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing device, but needs work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Ring to compliment my watch with samsung health. The first Ring I bought was great. It worked great, however the charging part stopped working within the year I bought it. As far as what it tracks and monitors. It does do a wonderful job especially since there is no subscription needed. I did wish I had a way of connecting it to my Libre 3plus CGM as I am diabetic T2. Now, I had to send in my Ring to be fixed, but the part needed to fix it was not in stock so I was given a full refund. I did end up getting another Ring, it was a customer return from Best Buy. However, that too had charging issues. I only had that Ring less than 3 months before I noticed it was not holding a charge. I am not sure if this is a common issue, but unfortunately I am now stuck with a 2nd Ring that doesn't work. I don't want to go through the same processes to get my money back so I am out the $200+ for the returned Ring as Best Buy will mot take it back for a refund. I ended up purchasing an Oura and have been pretty satisfied with it.

Major Battery Degradation - Total Waste of Money
on April 1, 2026

Absolute garbage. The battery died after just a few months of use. Sleep tracking is a joke—it stops recording the second you move in the morning and won't capture any sleep if you go back to bed. You can't manually update it to fix the errors. The only good thing is that there’s no subscription, but that's because the product doesn't work long enough to justify one. Avoid at all costs.

Lasted 16 months

Well, it happened. Had problems with the battery from the very beginning. Returned it twice. Received a new one and had for 16 months. I told myself I will take it off when I fully charge it at night and the battery dies before I wake up. It happened.... No longer wearing it. I sorta liked it. Would I buy another one? No. I'm a loyal Samsung person and own just about everything they make. This is the first product that I'm not satisfied with. Stick with just a watch, not both.
