Worked great for a few months, now it won't keep a change for more than a few hours.

Howdy Tikky10, Thank you for taking the opportunity to share your thoughts with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We appreciate your candor as we continue to improve the functionality and performance of our product line. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ which is similar to an extended warranty and an insurance package combined. It can provide protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It could cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ truly offers you the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to protecting your eligible investment. Our partners at UbreakIfix are also standing by to assist you with any repair needs you may be in need of. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. To prevent damage to your device, avoid wearing other metal rings on the same or adjacent fingers, and remove the ring when handling heavy, hard, or abrasive objects. For your convenience, I have included some resources below to help resolve what you've described to be experiencing with your battery life. If you would like any further assistance after checking them out, please let us know by reaching out to Samsung Support. We're here to help in any way that we can! Thank you for being a loyal Samsung customer. - Debra

Great while it lasts. 14 months later, the battery dropped to 2 days from six a year ago. It dropped in the last two months. I wonder how soon it won't last a day. Support said it is out of warranty and that it is normal for the battery to deteriorate. I love Samsung but I won't be an early adopter again of any of their products until is well tested.

The ring is not worth the price. Battery life is low. Especially, considering I only use it to monitor my heart rate. I wish I could give it 5 stars, but at that price point, battery life, and what it actually does for me, 3 is the best I can do.
**UPDATE** Changing from 3 to 1 star. As of today,Feb. 21st 2026, this plastic ring no longer works. Doesn't turn on. Doesn't charge. The kicker, I've only had it for 6months. Team Samsung, how do I get a refund???
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Took about a year before deciding to buy it and wish I'd bought it sooner. Battery life seems pretty decent, love the details and information it gives me.
Provides minimal features. The software should provide better analysis and graphs.

I'd like to start off with the good. It looks good and it feels premium. The battery life has been consistently great, especially when paired with my galaxy watch. It's much more comfortable to wear in bed than a watch for tracking sleep as well.
But, it's definitely not perfect. The biggest issue is the fit. I purchased the sizing kit as I'm not really used to wearing rings or any other jewelry. After 4 days of testing, it ultimately fell on a size 10 or 11. I went one more full day and night wearing a size 10 and it seemed like the best fit. Unfortunately when I received the actual ring, it did not fit the same when I received it. It was way too tight. It didn't make sense because I had tested it out for two full days with the sizing kit, but now it was too tight at night and early morning. It also affected the rings monitoring. It would not get accurate readings for my heart rate or steps. It could have just been that particular ring. I decided to exchange for a size 11. After receiving that one, it does fit a lot better. But it's a little loose during the day and I constantly have to realign it. It also does not always get accurate readings when tested throughout the day. It is pretty good for sleep monitoring at least.
Overall, not having half sizes is a huge negative. I feel that if I had money to throw away, I would use an 11 at night and early morning, and a 10 for the late morning to evening. I know that the fit is more of a personal issue. It just unfortunately impacts the monitoring and tracking for me more than I feel is acceptable for a premium device.

Greetings Jacob, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We appreciate your constructive input as we improve our product line. If your Galaxy Ring feels too tight even after utilizing the sizing kit to find your perfect size, it may be due to natural finger swelling from temperature changes, activity, or overnight fluid retention. Proper sizing is crucial for accurate health monitoring, as a loose fit can cause gaps in data collection, particularly for sleep tracking, heart rate, and movement. As you know, your Galaxy Ring must fit snugly to ensure the internal sensors maintain constant skin contact. If you would like to share any other feedback with us or if you would like any further assistance, please feel free to reach out to Samsung Support. We're happy to listen and work toward a better experience for our customers. Thank you for choosing Samsung! - Debra

I have been loyal to Samsung for over a decade. I've never had a complaint until this ring. It was amazing at first! Then, after about 6 months, the battery started draining terribly fast. At this point, a little over a year in, I'm having to charge multiple times a day. Last night I did an update that was supposed to help and it actually made it worse. I fell asleep to it fully charged and woke to 10 percent remaining. Fully charged it again, and by lunchtime had to charge again. A few hours later, I'm needing to charge yet again. Samsung, please find a fix for those of us that are desperately trying to give y'all the benefit of the doubt.

I purchased the Samsung Galaxy Ring with high expectations, but unfortunately, this device has been a significant letdown in two critical areas: battery life and overall performance. Battery Life - Major Disappointment The battery performance is simply unacceptable for a wearable device in 2026. Samsung advertises multi-day battery life, but in real-world usage, I'm barely making it through a single day. The ring requires charging almost daily, which defeats the purpose of a convenient, always-on health tracker. Key battery issues: Inconsistent battery drain, sometimes losing 40-50% overnight It just went down 10% as I was typing this Battery degradation seems to occur quickly after just 12 months of use What I Expected vs. Reality I expected a sleek, reliable health tracker that I could wear 24/7 without thinking about it. Instead, I got a device that requires constant attention, frequent charging, and delivers questionable data accuracy. Bottom Line For the premium price point, the Samsung Galaxy Ring simply doesn't deliver. The poor battery life alone is a deal-breaker, and the performance issues make it difficult to trust the health data it provides. Until Samsung addresses these fundamental problems with a hardware or software update(and it had 2 or 3 updates already), I cannot recommend this product.
Would I recommend it? No. Save your money and look at alternatives with proven battery life and reliability.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
