Better failure. I'm surprised to see this same comment from other users. I've used all Samsung products (except the VR headsets) which I was about to purchase. The experience with this ring has really been disappointing. The battery used to last a week and now last a few hours at best. This happened all at once and it of nowhere. Support has been as disappointing as everyone else has noticed.

Howdy Daleroy, Thanks for taking the opportunity to review your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Your feedback allows us to remain committed to constant innovation as we strive to improve the design and functionality of our product line. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ that is similar to extended warranty and an insurance package combined that provides protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It would cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ offers you that peace of mind when added to your eligible devices (Phones, Tablets, Watches, Buds, Rings & PCs). Our partners at UbreakIfix are also available to assist you with any repair needs you may have. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. Please feel free to review the resources shared below to help resolve what you've described to be experiencing with your battery life. Let us know if you would like further assistance afterward by reaching out to Samsung Support at your earliest convenience. Thank you for being a loyal Samsung customer. - Debra

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So along with the galaxy watch this ring allows you to continue tracking your habits (especially sleeping) if for any reason you forget to wear your watch. Love that I still get to do everyday activities while being able to track w.e I need to be tracked. A backup to a backup
I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy Ring and so far, I’m really impressed. The battery life is a big win, it lasts about 4–5 days on a single charge, even with me wearing it nonstop. I keep it on while washing dishes and showering, and it holds up well without any issues. The insights it provides are great, very similar to what I get from my smartwatch, but honestly, better in some ways since my watch usually dies in under 48 hours. Having something smaller and longer-lasting is super convenient. My only real complaint is the style. I chose the black version because it matches everything, but I do wish there were more color or design options beyond just silver and gold. It would be nice if we could customize or change the color to fit different looks. Overall, it’s a great device, functional, comfortable, and reliable. Just hoping for more style options in the future
This was a great buy at first. I was warned that it will eventually be useless as a wearable and just fad into being just a ring. I bought two, one for my wife as well. Sure enough, after a year of use, the charge got shorter and shorter and it finally stop charging on both devices. We loved the fit, style and functionality when it worked. Afterwards, we no longer wear them. We would have given it a 5 star but the lack of durability, knocks two stars off.

This seems to trackovemennt well. I get a lot of steps in a day and it seems to keep track well. I don't work out, I'm just active so I can't report on the workout tracking. I think the sleep tracking is accurate. The ring is lightweight and comfortable. I wear it working construction and it shows no scratches or wear yet, with almost 3 weeks of use.
I purchased this ring for sleep tracking. I purchased mostly due to samsungs great trade in offers and no monthly payments like some other ring brands. I noticed at first it was a bit glitchy but the first update took care of any issues I had and added some features along the way. I ordered a size 14 my wife a size 10. I saw a huge difference in the battery capacity in both rings. The smaller size lasted about 4 days before having to recharge. The larger one about 6 days. Understandable due to the battery size differences. My wife's ring started randomly draining in less than 2 days at the 10 month mark. Then eventually at the 11th month it wouldn't last a single day. We reached out to Samsung support and at first they said we were over our 1 yr warranty period. Upon providing a reciept they assessed the ring and sent a replacement free of charge. The larger ring was still holding charge at around 6 days. When the ring hit the 13 month mark that dropped to 4 days. I am at the 15 month mark and I am down to 3 days of charge. I am not sure how much longer the ring will be usable. While I understand batteries degrade over time. The ring seems to go down hill around the 1 yr mark. Looking online this seems to be a well documented problem. Samsung should really extend the factory warranty to cover the abnormal battery deterioration and show that they stand behind their products and their customers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Absolutely love this ring while it worked. Super comfy but after the first year battery life is just horrible . The gold finish is holding up great. I really have nothing to complain besides that the battery life changed to it has to be charged numerous times through the day

I was very pleased with my ring during the first several months of use. It performed well, and the battery life was excellent, lasting up to four days on a single charge. However, after about four months, the gold finish began to fade significantly. Now, at approximately 11 months of ownership, the battery life has declined dramatically. I currently need to charge the ring every 12 hours and often have to carry the charger with me throughout the day. This is a major disappointment considering how well it performed initially. While I appreciated the ring in the beginning, the decline in both appearance and battery performance within the first year has been frustrating

We understand how frustrated you may be to not have your device looking as pristine as it was during your unboxing. Here's a few precautions: Prevent the ring from being exposed to dust, sweat, ink, oil, and chemical products such as cosmetics, antibacterial sprays, hand cleaners, detergents, and insecticides. The ring’s exterior and interior may become damaged, which may result in poor performance. If the ring is exposed to any of these substances, clean it using a soft, lint-free cloth. Never use external heat sources, ultrasonic waves, soap, cleaning agents, abrasive materials, or compressed air to clean the ring. Doing so may damage the ring. Feel free to check out, "Keep your Galaxy Ring clean" if you would like to learn more. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage.
