When I found out that Samsung made a health ring, I had to have it. I love all of the health information that is literally at my fingertips. It charges quickly, it's lightweight, and the price is competitive with other products that are around.
Loved the fit and titanium finished material however like most of the other reviews says, battery doesn't last a week, I have to keep charging it at least every 2-3days at time and now after almost 2yrs, the ring has completely stopped charging, also it's not accurate in reading my health markers such as walking and sleeping, a few times it has asked me to manually enter my sleep because it suddenly stopped tracking it, truly disappointing because I'm a loyal Samsung customer but unfortunately this ring is not it. Do Not Buy! It's a waste of time and money, you will regret it.

Good day Luv2shopSamsung, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Your critiques provide valuable insights that will assist us with improving our product line to better suit the needs of our customers. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ which is similar to an extended warranty and an insurance package combined. It can provide protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It could cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ truly offers you the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to protecting your investment. Our partners at UbreakIfix are available to assist you with any repair needs you may have, as well. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring is able to last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. If you would like further assistance after reviewing the resources provided below, please feel free to contact Samsung Support at your leisure. Thank you for being a treasured Samsung customer. - Debra

I am really invested in the Samsung ecosystem, and I truly love their products, from the Fold to the Watch Classic 6 and the earbuds. During the first year with the ring, it worked perfectly! The battery was incredible, the feel of the ring felt amazing, and it was just slightly bulkier than a traditional ring. I love the materials Samsung used; the titanium finish felt great and light. On top of that, it was extremely accurate at reading my sleep and exercises.
However, after a year and a half of use, the Samsung Ring is not what it used to be. What used to be about 1.5 weeks of no charge became two or maybe three days, if lucky, with a full charge. The case for the ring presented the same problem. It got so bad that now I can't even put on the ring because the battery depletes immediately and it won't connect with the phone. I can only connect it when it's attached to the case. I tried doing a diagnostic test, and it can't even complete the diagnosis.
I talked to a couple of people who bought the ring, and some of them started to present the same problem I did.
It became unusable after a year and a half. The warranty only lasts for a year, which is truly heartbreaking because I really loved the ring. I feel like it's a waste of money if it's only going to last for less than two years. Hopefully, Samsung makes the next version better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I Have had this ring for almost 2 years and the battery is already failing. At first, it would show that it was fully charged, then minutes later drop down to 65%, then the next morning be at 11%. I tried a full battery sensor reset, and it will only last me maybe 2 days. It sucks that Samsung won't cover a non-fixable part.

I purchased my Samsung ring 5 months ago. The fit and finish of the product is great. However, the ring produces inconsistent results. I had a Ringconn for 2 years and it was consistent. If I played tennis for 2 hours, the step count was similar each time. The Galaxy ring will count 1,200 steps in a 2 hour session and the next time it's 5,000. Sleep score calculations are also inconsistent. And now the ring doesn't even capture any sleep data. It's asking me to manually enter my sleep data!! I have owned a galaxy watch, about 6 Samsung phones, 3 samsung tablets and the Galaxy Ring quality is no where near the quality of these other products. The ring fits right and I have reset it many times. None of this corrected the issues!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good day Kent, Thank you for taking the time to share your candor with us regarding your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Please know that we recognize your concerns and we are happy to take action to help resolve what you've described. Samsung offers a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. If your Galaxy Ring is not tracking steps correctly, it is typically due to fitment issues or lack of hand movement. Please make sure that your Galaxy Ring fits snugly, you are wearing it on your non-dominant hand, and that Samsung Health is configured to prioritize the ring over your phone. In the Samsung Health app, go to Steps > Menu (three dots) > Select step data to show and ensure it's not set incorrectly. The ring must be snug to detect motion. Ensure the sensors are clean and positioned correctly on your finger, ideally the non-dominant hand. Hold down the touch area on your ring for about 10 seconds until it vibrates to restart. Ensure both the Galaxy Wearable app and Samsung Health are updated to the latest version. The sensor requires continuous, natural movement to start counting, often requiring at least 10 consecutive steps, and may not count steps when pushing a stroller or cart. If your Galaxy Ring is not tracking sleep correctly, ensure the sensor is on the palm side, the ring is snug, and update the Samsung Health app. Some other tips include resetting the ring, cleaning the sensors, and ensuring it is charged. If using a Galaxy Watch simultaneously, prioritize one device for sleep tracking to avoid data conflicts. For your convenience, I have linked resources below to help resolve what you've described. Check those out when you can and get back to us if you have any questions or if you'd like further assistance. Thank you for being a valued Samsung customer. - Debra

Bought my husband an aura ring and myself the samsung ring for Christmas last year becasue I have an S24 and I thought mine would be a seamless integration. His ring always connects, mine I have to turn the bluetooth off and on or go to wearable and reconnect or keep the ring in the holder and open. Every morning some kind of frustration and his just connects and works perfectly. 4 days agomine just dies. I only wear it at night to sleep so the amount of damage it could have gotten is minimal, if any at all. Would not purchase again.

Hello Healthmaxer, Thank you for taking the opportunity to share your thoughts with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We can hear your frustration and we're here to help. If your Galaxy Ring disconnects from your phone, then there may be an issue with the Bluetooth connection. You can fix this by reestablishing the connection, ensuring there are no obstacles, and updating the Galaxy Wearable app. The Galaxy Ring battery can last up to 7 days and if you combine that with a full cradle charge, you can get up to 14 days of battery life without plugging into an outlet! Please keep in mind that frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts as well as environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can also affect battery life. Please take a moment to check out the resources linked below to help resolve what you've described to be experiencing with your device. If you have any questions or if you would like further assistance afterward, please feel free to reach out to Samsung Support at your leisure. Thank you for being a dedicated Samsung customer. - Debra

This ring is easy to use. I prefer on my 1st finger of my non-dominant hand. I like the fact that it is smooth, except for the mark for charging. That way it does not get caught on things. It works easily with Samsung health and makes it easy for me to track snoring and other sleep related things.
I would recommend this to a friend!
