In went back and forth about the ring and if I wanted to buy it or not. I have many of the samsung devices so for be it would be just past of the ecosystem. After back and forth I decided to get it in gold, when I first saw it I was impressed by how pretty it looked in person. I have my wedding band and I gave into the watch just because I was planning on getting a titanium ring to preserve my real wedding band. Story short I bought the ring just for the built and look (similar to a titanium nonsmart ring) and did not have big expectations. Yet I was wrong and it actually is a grwst piece of tech. I will take a star off because other ring companies have better tracking features like the Ultra ring, yet it's not IMO a deal breaker since that ring is rather inaccurate according to some.
This has been the highlight of my Samsung purchases this year (aside from my Bespoke Washer and Dryer, lol)! The convenience it offers for tracking all things health related is phenomenonal. The the data and charts are simple enough for anyone to understand and the items tracked are beneficial. The flexibility with goal setting in Samsung Health App paired with the Ring helps gain a good deal of insight into your overall sleep habits and fitness activities. And for those who call out that it only tracks Walking and Running, other activities can be added manually within the App, so you still receive credit for the workouts. I do Yoga and guess what..I simply add it after each class. It's a great addition for anyone looking to add EASE to monitoring items that contribute to our health. I love the fact that I can sleep in it and it still captures everything my Galaxy Watch 6 does, but without the discomfort during sleep. Worth every dime. I've spent more on a pair of shoes or a purse, or a cellphone upgrade. The Ring offers so much more!Lol I've had no issues with my Ring chipping or discoloring up to this point. I've worn it nonstop since purchase and only taken it off to charge. I wash my hands in it and shower, not a problem to report. Samsung did it AGAIN! Loyal customer for many more years to come..
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unboxing was a treat. The fit and finish of the ring and charging box was great.
The connection and set up was simple and I've had no issues staying connected via bluetooth. It records info even if you dont have your phone on you and then updates when in range.
Only 4 stars because I would love to see a haptic feedback alert for phone calls. That was not promised but would certainly make this product be better than the rest.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my Galaxy Ring a week ago and so far I'm loving it! I have a Galaxy watch, but I don't really wear it enough to help me accurately track, nor give it enough info for the Galaxy AI to do its stuff and provide direction/advice.
But with the ring, it's on all the time (1 charge all week...and it didn't even really need it!), so I'm getting all the steps, heart monitoring, etc. which is great. But what I really like is the sleep monitoring. Apparently I snore--if your phone is charging nearby, it will record...still not convinced it's not my wife though. But seriously, it measures everything.
I am starting to take the sleep programs advice and it should lead to better sleep outcomes, which I really want. Furthermore, I'm really starting to use more of the Samsung Health features, like food tracking. All these together will lead me to a healthier lifestylw--or at least help keep me on the path!
In short,I really love the Galaxy Ring: comfortable, useful, and fun! And just maybe, life-altering!
Yes, I took off three stars for it not collected my skin temp for my period prediction data. I used to wear a watch so I made sure I told the app to look at my ring data instead. When that didn't work, I ensured the watch was completely off. Then, I completely disconnected from my account. Still no skin temperature data in the period prediction. It is taking my skin temp overnight for sleep, as you can see by the pictures I've added. The period predictions and such were the main reason I wear this tech. I'll return the stars when they fix that.
Otherwise good piece of tech that's comfortable to wear. I did buy the sizing kit prior.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thanks for reaching out to share your thoughts with us, Katelyn. We noticed you reached out to share your feedback on the Galaxy Ring. By monitoring your skin temperature while you sleep, your Ring can track and predict your menstrual cycle. It is important to note that predicted ovulation dates are for personal reference only and may differ from actual dates. Please refrain from using the data for medical purposes such as symptoms, treatment, or prevention. Additionally, the tracking feature is not intended for pregnancy planning or contraception purposes. Be sure to make sure you've allowed your ring to track your temp for ovulation. Tap Health settings on Galaxy Wearable app > Tap Predict period with skin temp. Set your last period’s start and end date > Tap Next. Set cycle length > Tap Done. Agree to the disclaimer > Turn Predict period with skin temp switch On. If you are still experiencing the temperature not tracking for ovulation, please check out the link attached to submit an error report regarding this. Also, be sure to reach out to us at Samsung Support so that we can gather more information and further assist you with this. -Kelvin https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshoot/TSG10003603/ (submit error) smsng.us/Samsung-Support smsng.us/Facebook-Messenger smsng.us/X-Messages smsng.us/Samsung-Community smsng.us/Warranty-Info smsng.us/Samsung-Care-Plus
