I bought a size 12 gold one back around December as a gift to myself. At first it was nearly perfect; it would track my sleep 9/10 nights, tracked my steps, heart rate, and stress all pretty accurately. Sadly, after a couple months, it spontaneously stopped tracking sleep. I tried everything, rebooting the ring, factory resetting it, even contacting Samsung, and nothing worked. It will not track sleep anymore. That is a huge shame cause its one of the main reasons I bought it. Everything else works fine still, but losing sleep tracking is a big loss so I subtract 2 points for that. The fact it can't track sleep apnea is also a big minus. The last issue is that the ring is quite bulky. It took a while to get used to wearing cause its not just something you put on and forget its there, you can feel it. If you close your fingers too tight for example, it presses into the fingers on either side. It's a shame its not lower profile for better comfort.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy Ring for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. What stands out most is the battery life—I easily get a full week or more on a single charge, which is incredible for something this small and capable. I never feel like I’m constantly tethered to a charger, and topping it up only takes about 30 minutes.
As for features, the Galaxy Ring tracks sleep, heart rate, stress levels, and activity with solid accuracy. I wear it 24/7—it’s light, comfortable, and looks sleek enough to blend with any style. The sleep tracking in particular feels more detailed and consistent than what I’ve gotten from wrist-based trackers.
The integration with Samsung Health is seamless. I get all my metrics in one place, and syncing between the Ring and my Galaxy S25 Ultra is instant and reliable. It also handles inactivity alerts and recovery insights without being annoying.
If you’re already using Galaxy devices and want a health tracker that doesn’t feel like another gadget strapped to your body, the Galaxy Ring is a great pick. Minimal design, maximum function, and amazing battery life.
The size isn't a true ring measurement. You should recommend people to order at least a half size up, if not a full size. The 8 day battery life only holds true for the first charge. After 4 weeks, the battery life is about 5 days, and will continue to decrease over time. The data collection is pretty cool. I wish I would've been told what the red flashing light during my sleep meant. Red usually indicates something bad, so pretty nerve racking when I first saw it.
Very comfortable wearable, especially during sleep. The battery power needs a boost though.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi there JFedz, Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We value your feedback as we strive to improve the functionality and design of our product line. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your Galaxy Ring which covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. Feel free to check and the resources shared below to help resolve what you may be experiencing with your device. If you have any questions afterward or if you would like any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to Samsung Support at your leisure. Thanks for being a valued Samsung customer. - Debra

I ordered a size 12 to fit my ring finger. I don't know what size you sent, but it fits my "pinky" finger

Hey Bobby, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We appreciate your candor as we make every effort to improve the design and functionality of our product line. When you purchase directly from Samsung, a sizing kit is sent to you at no cost during the Ring purchase process. Also, please note that only one Sizing Kit per order number will be provided free of charge, no matter how many rings you purchase. Once you receive your sizing kit, try on the rings and find the one that feels like the best fit you! After you find the one you like, be sure to wear it for more than 24 hours, including while sleeping. Wear it properly with the indicator line on the outside of the ring facing the palm of your hand. If for any reason that size feels uncomfortable after wearing it for the extended period of time, try another size. Feel free to check out, "How to find the right size Galaxy Ring" if you have any questions regarding finding your perfect size. Let us know if you would like any further assistance by reaching out to Samsung Support at your earliest convenience. Thank you for being a valued Samsung customer. - Debra
