I know w to w is no longer popular but it works for me, although that means that I vacuum"everyday".. I previously had a Bissell Pet friendly vacuum that finally gave up the ghost and I was reluctant to buy another model, since I loved my previous Bissell. Well this one is lighter, has a light, and picks up dog hair likes there's no tomorrow. This is my new best friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally purchased this vacuum 1 year ago solely because I have a special needs child that is immune compromised fast forward to this year when my family was Impa Ted by hurricane Ian we ended up losing our rental and while sifting through what remains of our life I came back to this vacuum that not only turned on but continued to work even though it was waterlogged now I'm not saying go throw your vacuum in the nearest body of water but after it dried I found the top half of it works just like it did in the past and the only thing I lost was the swivel base (motor gave out) I'm currently at my parents house vacuuming up all my rugs I could salvage and pulling all the hair up in the recliners from their oversized catahoula who doesn't realized she's a big girl. When this thing finally decides to putt out on me I will definitely buy it again good job Bissell you won me over before but this sealed the deal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I don't have pets and did not buy this product for the hype about it cleaning up pet stuff. I bought it because I have had experience with Bissell vacs in the past and have been pleased, but mainly because I am going to almost all hard floors in my house. I liked the fact that you can turn off the beater bar while using on hard floors, that you can "lift off" the canister and go further with it, that there is carpet adjustments function, and mostly, the lights! My current vac does not have these and they are such a blessing. I really like the "handle" on the wand which makes it easier to handle when getting dust off blinds and in corners. It's just a tad heavy to carry around, maybe I should have bought the slim one, but I will get my exercise this way. Very easy to assemble. Everything just popped into place. Just a great machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The roller is held in place by plastic guides. The guide on the belt side of the roller has broken and destroyed the roller too. Disappointing. Root Cause: lack of height adjustment on the machine. It seems that none of the Bissell machines has the height adjustment anymore. Expect failure if you have high end carpeting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thus is the main use in my home on our main floor. Don't have pets, but have a wife and child with longer hair. Even though there is some winding with long human hair, it is minimal and easy to remove.
