[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, not pleased. First, the user guide says to check the Assembly videos to help get started, and there are no assembly videos. I'll get back to you after I figure that one out.

This vacuum has amazing suction power and the filtration is fantastic. The pet hair eraser works extremely well if not almost too well haha. It's ok on hard floors but not spectacular. Will kick up most dirt but doesn't touch smaller particles or dust on flat hard surfaces. Only issue I have had with this one (and it's minor) is that it shocks me alot while vacuuming. Like a static zap with a bit more charge. Thanks bissel, for making another great, well-made product. You don't disappoint!

Won't turn on after 1 year

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this vacuum for 14 months and abruptly it won't turn on. It was working one day and isn't the next day. No damage to the cord/plug. Bissell said I could take it to a service center which is far away from my home and the warranty is very vague about everything that's not covered, including regular wear and tear. Super frustrated with this entire experience. It worked great until it stopped and we expected a lot better from Bissell
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great vacuum

I was given this vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I have to say, I was impressed. It was great at picking up the tons of cat hair that always gets embedded in that one corner of the living room that my cat has claimed as his own. The lift off feature seemed like a great idea but honestly, I thought it was a little cumbersome to lug around. Overall, I thought this vacuum worked as advertised and was great at cleaning up pet hair. I love that the brush roll is easy to clean and think this is a great vacuum for people with pets in their home.

Hair on floor no more

I really enjoyed this vacuum, which is saying something because... it's a vacuum. It handled my hardwoods, carpet, and rugs with ease. I loved the detachable canister. It made vacuuming the stairs and reaching ceiling corners a breeze. The suction was impressive. I have waist length hair, a double coated dog, my husband and oldest son both have hair to their shoulders. It picked up all the dust, hair, and detritus from the floors with ease. The on board lights make it so easy to see where you need to clean. I own an older (very expensive) vacuum. I found myself reaching for the Bissell over the other because I found it equally good at cleaning the floor, but the Bissell was just easier to operate. My only negative is that the cord could be a bit longer and that the button to empty the canister was located in an awkward spot for me. I'm definitely recommending this vacuum to my in-laws who are looking to purchase. **Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me this vacuum to review.**
