I am impressed with how well this vacuum picks up my fluffy cat's fur - and it's easy to use. I do wish it had a retractable cord like other models had, and I am not a huge fan of the swivel action. The lights at the base of the vacuum are genius!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to return this vacuum. There was very little suction - almost like using a play vacuum. I was informed it was probably a manufacturer's defect. Perhaps just a fluke.

DO NOT BUY THIS VACUUM

This is a terrible vacuum. It scratches my wood floors and falls over EVERYTIME I use the Lift-off feature. The cord and hose are both too short. Also, there are NO attachments available for it. Wish I had not bought this....

Broke less then a year.

Bought this vacuum was amazed at the quality and how it handles my pets have.
However I had it less then a year and it is spitting debris out. I attempted to clean it and check all the hoses for any blockages however nothing is wrong just excessive air coming out and nothing being picked up by the vacuum. I reached out for warranty help since there is a manufacturer warranty and got no assistance.

GOOD SUCTION/HARD TO MANEUVER

I really, really like the Bissell Multi-Clean Vacuum for its suction. I find the suction is pretty decent and does a good job picking up dirt and debris. That said, when it comes to plush carpet, you need to go over it at least two to three times to get the job done, even if you have it set to the plush carpet setting.
The biggest drawback is maneuverability. It’s very hard to maneuver, even when you put it in the plush setting, which is supposed to make it easier on thick carpet. Unfortunately, it’s still tough to push and steer.

So, if you’re looking for a lightweight, easy-to-maneuver vacuum, this probably isn’t the one. But if suction is your priority, this vacuum delivers. It’s a trade-off: phenomenal suction but not easy to handle on thicker carpets.
