The vaccuum is so lightweight and easy to use. My upstairs is carpet but all my cleaning supplies are downstairs. It weighs practically nothing and gets the animal hair out of the carpet so well

I can tell you that the first time I vacuumed with it, I got multiple canisters of dog hair and dirt (mostly dog hair) from a house that had already been vacuumed with my prior vacuum. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the cord is often unwieldy and the vacuum sometimes doesn't turn easily (plus, you get tangled in the cord). But the amount of dirt & hair it picks up is 5 stars. And the brush doesn't get clogged with dog hair, which has been a thing with every other vacuum I've ever owned and regularly required getting in there with little scissors to clear the brush. This one is somehow non clogging.

The newest model is Grrrrrrreat!!! You don't have any problems clearing clogs, it is much quieter, and I LOVE it!!!!! Everything on the new one is perfect! I wore the old one out in 2 years with 4 Great Pyrs and a Golden Retreiver! Thinking of sending it to Bissel for their research!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our third Bissell, we just wear them out. This unit seems to have a more powerful suction crabing all our dog hair. Has easy to adjust carpet depth. It is a little diffuclt on the stairs because the base unit is quite tall compared to our other Bissell. Easy to empty and clean.
