If I win the $1,000, I will donate half of it to the collie rescue that, as a volunteer, I do grant writing. Bissell has helped our organization out with our rescue dogs in the past. It is the main reason I bought one of your products because you help so many animals.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a white haired cat and a huge dark colored rug, as well as a beagle. So lots of hair and cat litter dust. This vacuum is amazing at picking up hair and dust. The fine powder that's in the bottom of the canister amazes me every time. I love the hepa filter, and haven't had to clean the rollers. If I had any negatives, it is fairly heavy, the cord comes out the bottom so you do need to hook the cord so it doesn't get in the way, and I miss having more attachments for the wand. It comes with two, an electric roller brush that's a bit awkward to use due to lack of bending so it needs to be completely flat and lined up with the wand-- great for stairs, I wanted to use it on my dog bed but you basically need to be level with the ground yourself with the wand handle also parallel to the floor. If the accessory had an elbow that bent, it would've been amazing. The other is a brush accessory and I can see the bristles wearing out eventually. I miss the non brush attachment most vaccuums have. Overall though, for the price, this is an amazing and powerful vaccuum.
