It's the Little Things

Most vacuums will get the job done, but the Bissell Multiclean Allergen Lift-OFF Pet Vacuum has a lot of little features that make the job easier and even enjoyable. Okay, maybe 'enjoyable' is stretching it a little. Without further ado, here are my pros and cons: Pros: -It is lightweight and easy to carry around the house. We have a split level, so this is a must. It also makes it easier for younger kids to start helping with vacuuming. My 6 year old even helps out! (And he would tell you it is enjoyable because it is a "fun" chore for him at this age.) -The canister is easy to empty. It opens from the bottom and doesn't make a big mess when emptying it into the trash. -The lift-away makes it easy to reach hard-to-reach places, such as ceiling corners and around door frames. -A switch to turn the vacuum roller on and off so it transitions easily to hard floors. -Picks up dirt and pet hair (from our boxer) in one pass. I've also been impressed with the tangle-free brush roll. So far, no need to break out the scissors to cut hair off the roller. -A cord clip close to the handle to help keep the cord out of the way. I had no idea I needed this until I received this vacuum! -The Pet Turbo Eraser attachment is great for steps and furniture. Quick and effective. Cons: -I wish there were lights on the wand. There are lights on the main vacuum, but none when you take the wand out to use the accessories/tools. -The duster brush on the crevice tool constantly falls down when I am not using it. A little tape will help it stay out of the way, but it is annoying. Overall, the cons certainly do not outweigh all the positives for this vacuum. I would recommend this vacuum if you are looking to purchase a new one. **Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me this vacuum to review.**
