love the suction power to get the dog hair up off the furniture as well as the carpets. The ease of transition from floor to attachments is great. Would love to have a light on the attachment to help when in dark corners. But I just have the floor light nearby

I would not buy this vacuum again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is marketed as a pet vacuum. There is even a picture of a Husky on the box, this is NOT a vacuum meant for husky fur. The fur doesn't go down into the canister, it just sits on top. You have to empty the canister evey couple of swipes. We have laminate floors and I can't even imagine how bad it would be with carpet. The turbo pet attachment doesn't really work, fur gets clogged in it as well. Overall a very poor design. If you have shedders, I don't recommend this vacuum.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After 12 years of tough use with multiple kids & pets it was time to upgrade! Easy to maneuver, lift off & empty. Lightweight making it easy to carry but powerful suction with the perfect attachments gets any space clean. Another great product from Bissell!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't even know how dirty my carpets were until I used this vacuum. I had need using a Shark Stratos vacuum thinking I was cleaning the carpets. Well let me tell you I started it up and I had to clean it out within 5 minutes. My carpets had so much left over dirt and dog hair I couldn't believe it. Then I finished my living room after emptying it two more times unbelievable at what this vacuum cleaner can do. My carpets look newer and so much cleaner using this machine. I will never vacuum with any other vacuum than this one. It's super quiet also. Love it!!!

So easy, a child can operate it-

After my 6 year old dumped an entire canister of baby powder on the bathroom, she got to be the first one to use our new vacuum. By using both the hard floor option on the stand up vacuum and the brush attachment on the extension wand, she got the entire mess cleaned up. I was impressed by the performance of the vacuum and by how easy and intuitive it is to use. I used to work as a housekeeper years ago, and having a vacuum that not only works well, but is easy to use is paramount. This vacuum checks both boxes. The features I like most about this vacuum are the low set headlights, the combination crevice and brush tool, the spot near the handle for the cord to snap into (so it doesn't drag on the floor and get stepped on), and the ease with which you can switch from traditional vacuuming to using the extension wand, to using the vacuum in its lift-off mode. The tangle free brush seems to be doing its job. I have waist length hair, and I've broken lesser vacuums in the past when trying to vacuum my shedding, long hair. The handheld pet hair attachment did a great job of removing a thick layer of cat hair from our carpeted cat tree. I'm looking forward to using it to vacuum out the endless French fry and goldfish cracker crumbs from my van. I find the vacuum aesthetically pleasing and don't mind leaving it out. It has enough heft to get the job done, but not so much as to be cumbersome. It maneuvers easily (which is probably why my daughter had no trouble cleaning up her mess!) I'm grateful to Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing this vacuum for free in exchange for my honest review. It's made my job as a mom to messy kiddos much easier. Go buy this!
