Outstanding Vacuum Missing One Key Feature

I recently had the opportunity to test the Bissell Multiclean Allergen Lift-OFF Pet Vacuum courtesy of Steller Product Testing Panel. We have had a "pet vacuum" for many years that seemed okay in its performance but you never really know until you compare it to a different product which is not something that we ever had the opportunity to do until now. After vacuuming the carpet with our old vacuum, I went over the same area with our new Bissell and was amazed (and a little disgusted!) to see how full the lift-off canister picked up. It was horrifying to see how dirty out "clean carpets" have been all these years! Aesthetics are great but I'm all about performance when it comes to household items and the Bissell did not disappoint. Unlike our previous vacuum (and I say previous as it has been replaced permanently by the Bissell), I did not have to take a razor blade and cut out hairs that were picked up and trapped in the brush roller as the Bissell tangle free system works as advertised. I also loved how the canister lifts off to become a portable "mini vac' which made cleaning my car an absolute breeze. This vacuum may be small in size but it's huge in suction, providing comparable power to my full-size shop vac that takes up a ton of space. The lift off top is easily my favorite feature. The only downside to this vacuum is the lack of an automatically retracting power cord--for a vacuum at this price point I would expect this feature to be included, though perhaps it would have added to the size of the unit. For everything else that this vacuum provides this is a minor inconvenience that I am willing to overlook.

This Vacuum Did Wonders For My House!

I received the Bissell Multiclean Allergen Lift-OFF Pet Vacuum through the Stellar Product Testing Panel! This vacuum has done wonders for my home and I can finally get up all the dog hair that is blowing around. I have 2 dogs, a lab and a dachshund. I typically have to vacuum 1-2 times a week. This Bissell was light weight and easy to move around the house. It has a cut out towards the bottom that allows you to fit it perfectly under the hard to reach areas. It has a tangle free brush roll that doesn't get clogged with all the hair that is getting sucked up. The best thing about this vacuum is the head lights on the front! It was an absolute game changer for me! It allowed me to see all the hard to see dirt/ dog hair and I was truly able to clean my floors perfectly because of this! After using it, I was able to easily clean the canister. I can remove it off the vacuum with one hand and wash in seconds. It is all open so there are no hard to reach areas to clean. The suction was decent and I didn't have a problem with it picking up dirt and hair with 1 to 2 swipes across the floor. If I had to fix one thing it would be to have a option to use it cordless or with the cord, but that's just my opinion. Other than that, great vacuum and worth every penny!
