[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a daily vacuum that I thought was getting the job done. But wow was I wrong. When I first received my Bissell pet vacuum, I put it together with ease, and started cleaning a area rug I'd only had a couple of months. And it was unbelievable how much this powerful vacuum picked up. The attachments are a great asset and the hose length is just enough to reach our nine foot ceiling. And Using the detachable canister is a lifesaver for those hard to reach areas. I highly recommend the Bissell pet vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a small house with a nice plush carpet on the stairs and in the hallway. We had a Shark, but we received this vacuum as a gift. It pushes the dirt around without ever actually sucking it up. I couldn't believe what I was seeing because the Shark we had was older and lighter, and it cleaned the carpet without issue. The Bissell, however, doesn't have the strength.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought thos one because I have dogs, hence dog hair. It seems to pick up better than my old (competitor) model. First thing I'm mot happy about is when dumping the bin, the hair/dirt collects around the filter in the middle of the bin and is VERY difficult to get out. It's to tight to fit my hand in to pull out & it is a small space around the filter to use a tool. The second thing is I don't like the switch down on the body instead of on the handle. Also having to manually turn the brush on or off instead of it being a elecrtical connection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fourteen years ago I needed a vacuum. I went to a superstore nearby and bought something inexpensive but by a brand I trusted. The old Bissell 3537 (in the picture). Needless to say, 14 years is too long to have kept it. And while it still works fine, it's getting a new home as a donation. I tried out my brand new 2998 yesterday. A home inspector had left a mess on a small section of my hardwood floor. I had literally just taken it out of the box. It cleaned that area so well I honestly couldn't believe my eyes. See... the previous model had no way to turn off the brush. so it did not clean hardwood floors or tile well at all. Today I put it through its paces, cleaning my whole house. Our home is 85% hardwood floors and tile - and we have two cats. Medium hair but they still shed it everywhere. I even cleaned their "tree". It cleans hardwood floors and tile better than anything I've ever seen. And while you may laugh at this, the lights on the front of the machine are invaluable. No matter how many lights I turn on, they don't illuminate the dirt like the vacuum's headlights. I never knew I needed them till today. The Pet Turbo Eraser tool is terrific for furniture, sofas, the cat tree, heck I even used it on the bedspread. The 2 in 1 dusting brush I was less impressed with, but it still did what it was supposed to do. The Lift Off system is the way to go. A huge convenience. I only wish it had its own headlights. LOL It's quiet (for a vacuum) and in my opinion has just the right sucking power for what we need. Some vacuums are so strong they suck up power cords, and area rugs and you have to bend down and pull those out. Not so here. So I guess in a way I'm saying it's not the strongest vacuum you can buy. But for normal dirt, pet hair, dust, kitty litter, etc... it's the best product I've ever used. And I hate to clean. My wife said, "I've never seen you so excited to clean before." Saves us getting the cleaning service we were considering buying! :)

Top contender against higher priced vacuums!

I will start by saying I have tried a lot of vacuums. With two kids and two dogs, vacuuming is a part of my daily routine. With that being said, this bissell is on the top of my list. It has impressive suction power for being a less expensive vacuum. It also has a fairly large canister for how lightweight it is. The feature to remove the canister while vacuuming is also an awesome feature. I was able to get up a ton of dog hair and debris from a quick vacuum of my upstairs. I also love the option to turn off the rotating brush head! I was able to vacuum some of my rugs that I'm usually not able to vacuum! The option to turn on or off the brush head was one of my favorite features! I also really like the smaller power nozzle vacuum. It also has a surprisingly powerful suction! Overall, this is an excellent vacuum. It doesn't quite live up to its hype about having a tangle free roller. This is probably its only downfall. Although I haven't seen a vacuum yet that doesn't get hair stuck on the roller. I didn't have any issues with my allergies acting up while I was vacuuming either, which is always a plus. This vacuum is definitely a top contender with other higher priced vacuums! I received this product from stellar product testing in exchange for my honest review.

Our carpets and floors have especially taken quite a beating with our staying at home more, due to the recent pandemic. We were so excited to try out the Bissell Multi-clean Lift-Off Pet vacuum, that was given to us as part of the stellar product testing panel. The vacuum literally took ten minutes to put together from the box and we put it to work right away. We have since vacuumed all the floors, chairs and high surfaces of our home and would highly recommend this Bissell vacuum. It picks up dirt, hair, dust and any food particles easily in a short amount of time. It is light weight and easy to use. My husband and I especially love it's lift off feature that enables one to literally vacuum any surface and also makes the vacuum super lightweight. Vacuuming our cars in the garage has become fast and hardly a chore due to the lift-off feature of the vacuum. The led lights are an added bonus that enables one to see and vacuum any nook and cranny. The Bissell vacuum has a tangle free brush roll that works so well and doesn't get any hair or carpet fibers that one has to clean out later; it really is a thing to see and experience. The sealed HEPA allergen system is very effective and a great bonus to an amazing product that every family is sure to enjoy. Our family is really enjoying the Bissell vacuum and we would highly recommend it to anyone for a cleaner and safer home. It is also small and compact and can fit in any size closet or space. We don't have anything negative about this product at this time.

This picked up an insane amount of dust and hair (my own) that my old one didn't. I had no idea this much dust and hair was stuck in my carpet. And that was with air purifiers running 24/7. Completely worth the price
