I received the Bissell Multiclean Allergen Lift-OFF Pet Vacuum as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I am a mom to 3 messy kids and a cat, my husband and I both suffer from seasonal allergies, this vacuum hasn't let me down. Whether it's cat hair or dirt from the plant my daughter knocked over it cleans it up in just one pass. The light on the base, which is my favorite feature is very bright and really helps you see any debris to make sure nothing gets left behind. The lift off feature and extra long hose make it easy to clean in those hard to reach places like the car and under furniture. I was impressed with how easy the Lift Off feature was to use just a simple push of a button and the top lifts right off the base. The tangle free brush is just that, tangle free! No having to get those pesky strings from the rug untangled from this brush, and hair doesn't get trapped and tangled in the brushes like I've experienced with other vacuums. After using this vacuum for several weeks I did notice that my allergies were not nearly as bad as they have been, I believe the Hepa Allergen system contributed to that. The only reason I gave this vacuum 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is a little on the heavy side, and I think a self rewinding cord would be a great feature and just make it that much more functional. Overall this vacuum is excellent at removing debris and pet hair from carpet and hard surfaces, I would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially those with kids and/or pets.

I would like for the cord to be able to be clipped up higher, as I am always having to reach down and grab it, but otherwise I have been very pleased.

This not only picks up all the hair from the floor and with the easy hand piece off my couches!! The air smells clean as well. I've purchased Dyson before the battery never lasts. it's expensive and small. Bye bye Dyson

I bought this one to replace and older lower end vacuum and this vacuum picked up so much extra hair and dust it was hard to believe. It was super easy to assemble and works great. It makes the carpets look great after each use and can keep up with three dogs worth of mess. Would definitely recommend to everyone.
