[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was time for a new vacuum and having an Aussie, get a lot of pet hair. Researched and decided on the Bissell Lift-Off Pet model. I was amazed at the cleaning capability and the amount of hair that came up after having already vacuumed earlier with my previous model. It is lightweight, easy to use and was great then to clean up my vehicle as well. I would highly recommend this product.

We use it to vacuum area rugs and hardwood floors. Works great and we like the detach for stairs and window sills. Don't have a pet but wanted the power one one that cleans up pet hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have oak floors, a white couch, plus a very thick Persian rug in the living area. And two dogs! I needed a vacuum to handle it all. This one does. The price was right, it has strong suction, a long cord, plus the tools stow right on the unit. The turbo pet tool REALLY gets up the hair! I traveled for 7 weeks over the summer with both pups riding and sleeping in the 'hammock' in the back seat of my truck. There was a TON of hair after my trip, but the pet hair attachment got it all. The two things that could improve: Using the lift-off part with the hose is a little awkward; it wants to pull the whole vacuum over if you aren't careful. And the edge tool should have a way to retract and LOCK the brush out of the way. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this vacuum.
