Great Multi-functional vacuum!

I was excited to receive this vacuum as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We have a dog who likes to lounge on the furniture and rugs, so I was eager to try this specifically as a pet vacuum. The vacuum did a great job eliminating pet hair - quickly and thoroughly! I loved being able to lift off the canister to carry around for vacuuming the stairs and window treatments - this was my favorite feature! The tangle free brush worked great for not only pet hair clean up, but also general dust and hair debris in bathrooms and common areas. The only feature that I didn't love was emptying the canister when finished, as dust flew back out when emptying it in the garbage can. If there was a smaller chute to empty the dirt and dust, that might have helped control the dust better. Overall, I really like the Bissell Multiclean Allergen Lift-Off Pet Vacuum and will recommend it to friends!

Love it! Very versatile in the way it can be used. The canister comes off for smaller areas. The handle can be detached and you can get into corners. How it swivels does take a little bit of getting use to.

Having all of the tools attached and handy is great too. The only negative I have is it is a little heavy and the cord is not as long as my old Shark.

I received the model 2998 that i ordered in 4 days, if was missing one of the 3 prefiltersand when i called this gemtleman, very nice, said it would ship it right out. It wasnt the one i needed and was told not to u se the vacumn without it, my second call was received by a very nice woman who told me they were back ordered, and i was frusttated, she ended up sending me a whole new vacumn. Very nice of her. Now when i get the filter i will find a new home at the closesr sheltert

My vacuums get a workout and I appreciate that Bissell can stand up to it. I appreciate some improvements since my prior Bissell Pet Hair Lifter. The hinges on the tank are sturdier, the closed loop handle design makes it easier to carry up and down stairs and the filtering system is simplified.
