[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum works great to combat lots of cat and dog fur and works surprisingly well on loose litter grains. The design has few bends that can led to clogs (problems I've had in the past with other vacuums) so suction remains strong. Very happy with this vacuum so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: very good at picking up pet hair and cleaning the carpet and hardwood floors. Con: Very disappointed. After receiving the vacuum 3 weeks ago and after 3 uses the canister broke when emptying it. The hinge that holds the cover on the canister when you open it to empty broke right off. On inspection it is a very weak hinge. For the price payed the vacuum is being sent back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

All the features met my expectations for multi-pet household

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All the features met my expectations for a household of 2 long haired English Setters and several cats and I was able to eliminate having to use 2 different vacuums for different floor types. The brush never tangles up with fur and I love being able to vacuum under furniture and the beds without changing attachments while having a light on the head to see what I am doing. The auto feature is perfect for my ceramic tile floors (with grout lines) with various rugs, as it auto adjusts the suction when needed. The manual feature is what I needed to have full constant power (using the + button) while vacuuming my textured Berber carpets and minimal power (using the - button) for vacuuming specialty silk rugs. The cord is so much longer than my previous vacuums and I love that it retracts. With this many animals I clean the washable filters a minimum of once a month. There is only one feature that I consider a minor issue, and that is the button on the canister to dump the contents is difficult to open and I have to assist by gently lifting the catch to open the canister. I would highly recommend this vacuum cleaner.
