[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Bissell canister vacuum is great! The extendable arm is perfect and now I don't have to bend over while vacuuming. Far and away more power than any cordless vacuum and it easily gets far under couches and such. The canister easily comes off to empty it. I will never get an upright or stick vacuum again

The good and the bad of it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had it for a couple of months to date and it gets weekly use. The good- strong suction, cleans well. Thats a big plus in a house with multiple dogs! This one replaced different brand that only had an air powered brush, to the motorized head has made a big difference. The headlight is a big plus. So far I've done several head on collisions with furniture and doors and the light hasn't died on me. I do like that it switches from carpeting to hard surfaces automatically. The bad- the hose is flimsy and twists up easily. I can see it eventually getting a hole and needing replacement. The overall body design is weird in that the wheels stick out just enough and as a result it gets stuck on door frames as I pull it around a corner. Most canisiter vacs have a smooth rounded shape to avoid getting caught up on things. The owners manual has no information as to how often I should wash the filters for best results. It would be nice if it had better accessories. I would have liked to have seen a small head to clean the couches and dog beds. I would even be willing to get one if it was sold seperately. Overall I am satisfied with it and hope I can get several years of service out of it.

Love that it has a really nice long hose and that the head can go flat to get under tight spaces. Really nice and quiet compared to all the uprights I've had and the added bonus that it can't fall over every time I'm using the hose with cleaning tools attached. The only "problem" I had was that the suction is so strong, it's hard to vacuum throw rugs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Bissell vacuums and carpet cleaners for years--literally--and have always been very satisfied with how well these products perform. My previous Bissell vacuum lasted almost 8 years but clearly, given how much stuff came up out of my carpet, I needed this new one! At any rate, it works very well on my carpet and my tile floor in the rest of the condo. The only thing I would suggest is to be sure to 're calibrate' it prior to the first use--otherwise it doesn't work well on any carpeted surface--worked ok on the tile--but was a real struggle on the carpet until I 're-calibrated'. It didn't 'self adjust' either until it was 're calibrated'". Still, it's a nice vacuum and gets good results. The canister is very easy to pull around too. Thank you

I like to be able to go from carpet to hardwood easily. It's light and empties easily and gets under furniture lien the bed and sofa without any trouble. Love it!

Best vacuum I've ever used!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had no idea how dirty my floors were until this vacuum! It has the hardest suction of any vacuum I've ever used. It works great on wood/laminate/tile floors. The suction is so hard I have a hard time vacuuming my carpet. We have two dogs and one cat indoors and I was SHOCKED at how much stuff was in the canister after vacuuming a small section. I definitely feel like my home is cleaner now! Pros: strong suction, great design, long cord, attachments for cleaning furniture, etc., gets multiple surfaces clean. Cons: hard to use on carpet, instruction booklet is vague. I would 100% recommend this vacuum to anyone.

The ease of use for the boys on the new carpet in their rooms, hall and the stairs, makes cleaning much easer on my daughter-in-law. Picks up great, easy to navigate with and has the Bissell name as the best reference! Highly recommend this machine.
