[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great vacuum cleaner. It is easy to assemble and easy to use. I thought my carpets were clean, but was surprised to see how much this vacuum cleaner picked up that was left by my older vacuum. It proved that it is worth it to buy a pet friendly product if you have pets. The amount of noise was acceptable. I am very happy with this product and would definitely recommend it to others.

I love my bissell PetHair eraser canister vacuum 2230 there is no hair tangle on the brush roll becuz of the tangle free roller the LED headlights are amazing for getting in dark rooms and under beds to get that embedded dog hair it does great on the carpets and also great on hard floors the handle is extendable and that is good for vacuuming tall curtains and ceilings and fans!!!!!!@@@

The one thing I noticed, is that the products keep improving. I have been known to give away a perfectly good vacumn just to get a newer model. I am always impressed with the latest model and this one was no exception. This last Pet Hair Eraser even impressed my husband! He saw what it did and wanted to try it. He now helps me now and then because he is still impressed at how much the products improve. It cleans deep, fast and well! It is a teeny bit on the heavy side, but to get that power, I am fine with that and it is not overwhelmingly so. I LOVE THIS VACUMN!

I liked many features like how easy it was to go from a vacuum to just using the extensions, I loved the retractable cord, I really like how well it got up all the pet hair and went from carpet to floor with ease. What I didn't like was it was bulky, hard to push over the carpet and floor. The vacuum head was really hard to roll and made vacuuming exhausting. It also has too many buttons and I had a hard time remembering what each did. Overall it was okay to use. It had lots of great features but was just too hard to use for someone my age. I prefer vacuums that are easier to push and carry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What I love about it is that the canister is separate from the hose which makes it so much easier for me to use. The vacuum I was using is so heavy and hard for me to vacuum with. The suction power on the Pet Hair Eraser is GREAT!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Pet Hair Eraser is a lightweight powerful vacuum. The power head can be reasonably manuvered under furniture. The amount of dog hair collected on the first use impressive. The auto power feature reasonably increases vacuum power on fluffy carpet. It would be nice if the auto power was on by default on power on. The base can be pulled over if not pulled in the right direction, but it is easy enough to get used to. I would recommend it to everyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: Extremely powerful Bagless Washable filters Motorized head works great on stairs Extendable wand Large cleaning radius Long retractable cord Cons: Difficult to push on some carpets No on board tool storage Difficult to remove the power head on the fly We love this vacuum for its compact design, variable suction power (with auto mode), and most importantly excellent cleaning power. The suction is so strong that it pulls the motorized head down onto the carpet like we've never seen before. In order to use it on thicker carpets without tiring yourself out, you push down on the handle lifting the motorized head up, push it forward where you want it to go, and then pull back for powerful cleaning. It's a breeze on area rugs, hard floors, and not so thick carpets. The verdict: Not as easy to use as the old Kenmore canisters we used to love, but the Bissell performs infinitely better. Some onboard tool storage, an easier to push on thick carpets design, and easier on the go powerhead removal would make this machine perfect.
